There is a ton of incentive for players to explore the world of Throne and Liberty, from new towns with their own citizens to interact with and plenty of monsters and enemies to fight. This also includes filling out the game's Codex, which gives players a ton of small accomplishments to pursue and has them traveling all around the map to complete the entire list. As players gain levels, they will get access to new Codex entries to unlock and can work toward the rewards that come from completing each one.

The Player Auto-Running On The Road & Past Some Enemies
Throne And Liberty: How To Auto-Run

Throne And Liberty gives players the ability to auto-run, letting you take care of other things while traversing the map; here's how to do it.

One of these Codex entries that players can tackle pretty early on in the game is to find and defeat the Giant Goblin Butcher. This guy is a decently formidable foe and can pose a big problem once players have found him. However, even more, there is some difficulty in finding him thanks to his timed appearances and the fact that other players will be looking for him and killing him before someone else can get to the location. This guide is here to, hopefully, make that frustration a little easier.

Where To Find The Giant Goblin Butcher In Throne And Liberty

Throne and Liberty - Giant Goblin Butcher Location On Map

The Codex entry for taking on the Giant Goblin Butcher is available in the Urstella Fields section of the Codex and can be attempted after reaching Level 7. It is called Butcher in the Field, and killing this enemy is just one part of the entire thing.

Once the entry is unlocked and players are ready to tackle the goblin, they can go to the Urstella Fields section of the map. The Giant Goblin Butcher is found directly to the west of the Starlight Observatory Ruins, which players will come across as part of the main quest.

Throne and Liberty - Goblin Enemies

Players will know they are in the right area when they see tons of smaller goblin enemies around. These little guys are just basic enemies that don't require too much attention on the player's part.

As mentioned before, the Giant Goblin Butcher is on a timed cycle for when he spawns. If a player reaches the area, and he isn't there, they have to wait around about five minutes for him to spawn again.

He can spawn in different spots within this area, so players need to be on the lookout for him to pop up somewhere else nearby.

Throne and Liberty - Field Boss Icon

Once the Giant Goblin Butcher has spawned, players can look for a reddish skull icon to appear on their map to show his location. Players will want to wait around the area for him to spawn so they can get at least one hit in before he goes down.

It only takes one hit for a player to get credit for killing him, and if they can't land a hit, they will have to wait for another spawn.

The Giant Gobin Butcher is a formidable opponent that has some devastating attacks should they land. Players can best prepare for this fight by bringing a long-range weapon like a bow or the staff to pepper him from afar. Also, having other players to help is always going to be beneficial.
