While leveling up in Throne and Liberty might be quite easy for MMORPG veterans, new players may find it troubling to secure a foothold and learn the ropes before they're on a good path toward the end game. Even if they play solo, the game has a lot of great mechanics to boost their chances to score loot and earn lots of experience, and Secret Dungeons are some of the best on the menu.
Throne And Liberty: How To Get Abyss Currency
Abyss Currency is a valuable endgame currency in Throne And Liberty, with only a handful of ways to acquire it to then obtain some of the best loot.
There are a few things that players should know about Secret Dungeons, and we are going to summarize the most important parts, including details on how to join these activities, how the tiers are divided, and what kind of loot players can get from them.
What Are Secret Dungeons In Throne And Liberty?
One of the most important things to know about Secret Dungeons is that they're activities that players can carry out either solo or in groups of up to 6 people (with matchmaking included), and they need to be unlocked before players can access them.
The first instance of Secret Dungeons can be unlocked around levels 11-14, by completing the Codex Chapter 3: Veterans Never Die Appendix - Ashien's Strange Painting. Once players complete a series of activities in the Urstella Plains, in the Starlight Observatory Ruins, they will be sent to talk to an NPC named Ashien and after observing a painting and speaking to the girl again, they'll be able to access the Taedal's Tower a solo-queue Secret Dungeon.
Throne And Liberty: Beginner Mistakes To Avoid
New players to Throne and Liberty would do well to avoid the following mistakes.
The other instance is called Gate of Infinity and they're activities that are bound by weekly rotations, and a ranking system. This is part of the end-game solo activities that players can access once they reach a certain level.
On the other hand, the Dimensional Circle Dungeons are a series of 6-player challenges that can be accessed by players through matchmaking and consist of several dungeons with powerful opponents and mechanics that require a certain degree of cooperation between party members.
Taedal's Tower Overview
Taedal's Tower is a solo dungeon that works in tiers of challenges, and players can access it through the Secret Dungeons tab in the Main Menu. For the first time, they will need to access it from the painting located next to Ashien in the Urstella Plains Starlight Observatory Ruins, but after that, it will be unlocked permanently in the menu. Here are a few things you should know about this Secret Dungeon:
- There's a total of 20 challenges (20 floors), and each of them has its own mechanics.
- The difficulty increases on each of the floors.
- In some cases, players will have to collaborate with an NPC or protect them.
- The rewards increase accordingly with the level of challenge and include various precious items, like life crystals, Growthstones, and gold.
- No matter how many times players die, they can keep trying the challenge without penalties or cooldowns.
Here's a full list of the floors, the recommended levels to take on the challenges, and their respective rewards.

Gate Of Infinity Overview
Gate of Infinity is the end-game solo dungeon challenge that takes the Taedal's Tower levels and recreates them adding extra objectives like defeating the bosses/completing the levels in a fixed amount of time. Of course, that is also accompanied by an increase in the difficulty level and the health and damage of the enemies to beat.
New challenges appear every 5 days, and the rewards for completing them are incredibly attractive for high-level players since they include items like Omnipotence Parchment, Precious Marind Ore, Training Dew, and Restoration Coins. And of course, loads of Gold (Solant) to boot.
Throne and Liberty: How to Ride the Gigantrite
Here's how to mount the magnificent animal known as the Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty.
Additionally, there's a ranking system that consists of calculating the performance of each player (like time for completion, damage received, etc) and will grant a placement to those with the highest scores. If players are aiming to be top of their servers, then Gate of Infinity is definitely what they're looking for.
Dimensional Circle Overview
The Dungeons belonging to the Dimensional Circle are not solo dungeons but Co-op Dungeons, they are a series of 6-player challenges that can be accessed by players through matchmaking and consist of several dungeons with powerful opponents and mechanics that require a certain degree of cooperation between party members.
The Dimensional Circle will be unlocked automatically at level 20, or by following the main questline and completing Codex Chapter 4, and it will be available from the main menu.
Here's a list of all the dungeons and their respective requirements:
- Specter's Abyss – Level 20
- Roaring Temple – Level 30
- Cave of Desperation – Level 40
- Death's Abyss – Level 50
- Cursed Wasteland – Level 50
- Temple of Slaughter – Level 50
- Butcher's Canyon – Level 50
- Cave of Destruction – Level 50
- Tyrant's Isle – Level 50
In the global release version of Throne of Liberty, these can be accessed through the Co-Op Dungeon tab in the main menu. The Dimensional Circle also has Tiers to be challenged depending on the gear score being Tier 2 the more challenging level 50 dungeons which include:
- Island of Terror – Level 50+
- Voidwastes – Level 50+
- Valley of Slaughter – Level 50+
- Carmine Rage Island – Level 50+
- Torture Chamber of Screams – Level 50+
Finally, each week the Tier 2 dungeons enter a rotation where certain "effects" (like debuffs for example) are applied to players and monsters, and these turn the selected instances into Challenge Dungeons, which also come in tiers of difficulty and will require certain gearscore to enter, starting at 2350.
Monsters in the Challenge Dungeons will have their damage and health increased, and there will be extra objectives like a timed challenge, and other requirements to beat the bosses that are added to the regular runs. As players might have guessed already, these are the ultimate end-game activities tackled by 6-player parties.
