Treasure of Daybreak is one of the more confusing Exploration quests in Throne and Liberty. It works a little differently compared to many other world quests, and while it's not as complicated as some players might think, completing it requires both patience and precision.

Completing side quests like Treasure of Daybreak is a great way to level up quickly in Throne and Liberty, and if you find yourself waiting to hit a certain level to continue the main quest, then finishing this one should be on your list of things to do.

Friend of Morokai the Turncoat is an Exploration quest in Throne and Liberty. Here's how players can complete it.

How to Find the Treasure of Daybreak in Throne and Liberty

The Treasure of Daybreak quest automatically starts as soon as you enter the Monolith Wastelands during Chapter 6. This area is right outside Vienta Village, though you'll have to go up the cliff leading south in order to proceed with the rest of the quest. This area is full of hostile monsters — if you're using a DPS class in Throne and Liberty, you should be able to take them out quickly. Otherwise, just run past them.

  1. Defeat Flame Fighters until a Loot Chest Key drops.
  2. Go to the Sandflame Bandit Base and look for a locked chest containing a map.
  3. Go to the location drawn on the map.
  4. Find and open the hidden treasure.

Flame Fighters are bandits that you can find in the southern part of the Monolith Wastelands. There are entire villages full of them there, so keep fighting some until the key drops. Once you do get the key, look for a chest in a tent in the Sandflame Bandit Base (indicated on the map above). This chest contains a treasure map leading to the titular Treasure of Daybreak.

Treasure of Daybreak Location

The treasure itself is buried somewhere in the desert. According to the map you found, it's near two stone obelisks to the north, near the Sandworm Lair waypoint. You'll know you're in the right spot if you see a Mysterious Book next to an obelisk. Also, players who are also trying this quest may be waiting in the area as well.

You won't be able to just dig the treasure up, though. As the map said, the treasure will appear about a minute after dawn, hence it's namesake. You can check the in-game time of day by hovering your cursor over the round icon in the upper-left corner of your mini-map. It should display a timer saying how many minutes are left until morning breaks.

Either wait for dawn to arrive, or do something else in the meantime. Specter's Abyss in Throne and Liberty is a quick and easy dungeon to do, so if you have time to spare, consider queuing up for a run.
