Summary
- The Seeker, with Wand & Tome + Longbow, is best suited for veteran players due to its difficulty in mastering.
- The Liberator, utilizing Longbow + Staff, offers self-sustainability and high damage output but requires allies' protection due to lack of escape options.
- The Templar, with Sword & Shield + Wand & Tome, provides high survivability and healing for allies, making it great for Support roles in GvG.
Throne and Liberty features Guild versus Guild content, which is also known as Large Scale PvP. This consists of massive player counts for game modes such as Castle Siege, Riftstone Wars, and Boonstone Wars.
Players that want a more rounded experience will want a build that works well in GvG, PvP, and PvE dungeons. Luckily, some builds are amazing in all of these activities, such as Templars and Crusaders. These builds are great for leveling, playing dungeons, and helping allies in all the Throne and Liberty PvP game modes offered.
Throne and Liberty: How to Level Up Fast
Getting to max level early in Thrones and Liberty means getting to partake in the engaging and thrilling endgame content.
6 Darkblighter
Wand & Tome + Dagger
- Primary Stats: Perception & Dexterity
- Difficulty: Easy
Wand and Tome is a strong pick for a Support character, while the Dagger is a strong pick for DPS. While both of these can be hard to master, the Darkblighter is actually quite an easy build to get the hang of. Players will dip and dive around while dealing damage and staying out of harm's way, and retreat behind enemies that need healing and/or support.
Throne And Liberty: How Skill Upgrades Work
Upgrading skills is a very important element in Throne and Liberty, so be sure you know what you’re doing.
This build is very glassy and mana hungry, so save mobility skills for getting out of trouble rather than getting into a good position to attack. If players keep that in mind, they will have a fun class to play with. Since daggers play such a big part in critical hits, it makes sense why so many DPS players love using them to speed through the game.
5 Seeker
Wand & Tome + Longbow
- Primary Stat: Strength + Wisdom
- Difficulty: Very Hard
Unlike the Darkblight, this build is far from easy, and only veteran players will want to take a crack at it. This build is arguably one of the best supports when it comes to its paired weapons. It has plenty of healing for both itself and its allies, along with the Longbow’s notorious self-sustainability options. It's also great for dealing with crowd control and Dagger users.
However, when in trouble, it also lacks a means of escape. Players will always want to hang back and stay behind their allies, as this class cannot take much damage. Again, this class is hard to master, and new players should avoid creating a character with this weapon pairing in mind until they consider themselves very adept at Throne and Liberty. Don’t be afraid to completely remap the controls if it will help to master this class.
4 Liberator
Longbow + Staff
- Primary Stat: Perception
- Difficulty: Hard
While players have their allies on the frontlines, they will be able to safely attack from the rear for both single-target and AoE damage. While this build burns through mana, it is very self-sustaining thanks to the Longbow. This is perfect for players who know their friends like playing frontliners, as it will let them pour on damage to aid their tanks.
Throne and Liberty: How to Use and Get Ornate Coins
Ornate Coins are used to get some stylish esthetic items, but they can also be used to upgrade gear and skills.
This build lacks mobility and means of escape, so it is imperative that the player's allies know about this weakness and can aid them if they are targeted. While not as hard to play as a Seeker, this is far from an easy class. Most will be better off playing a Scorpion before trying out a Liberator.
3 Crusader
Greatsword + Sword & Shield
- Primary Stat: Strength
- Difficulty: Low
Crusaders boast truly phenomenal survivability due to their weapon pairing. This makes it an amazing choice in Small Scale PvP, Large Scale PvP, and clearing dungeons as a PvE class. This class is also capable of closing in on enemies or pulling them closer. Crusaders are great at crowd controlling groups and dealing out plenty of damage.
However, the best part is that it is an incredibly easy class to play, making it perfect for beginners. Its shortcomings lie in its limited range, but players are able to counterbalance this limitation by playing extremely aggressively with Greatsword skills. Playing to this class’s strengths will cause it to perform to the best of its abilities at all times.
2 Invocator
Wand & Tome + Staff
- Primary Stat: Wisdom + Perception + Strength
- Difficulty: Medium-High
The best magic combo in the game is to pair the Staff with the Wand and Tome. The staff is capable of some truly devastating skills, while the Wand and Tome is the poster child for healing and support. With this pairing, the Invocator class can do it all and can be cataclysmic in the hands of a skilled veteran. This class can support its allies with some of the best healing and crowd control possible, as well as wreaking havoc by reducing the healing potential of enemy players. The class also recovers mana quickly, which synergizes well with its low cooldowns.
This class’s only major drawback is how squishy it is. It cannot take much damage and will rely on allies to keep it safe. While not as hard as some of the other classes, this one is still on the high end of medium. Players will need to distribute their points among three stats to see it perform at its optimal levels.
1 Templar
Sword & Shield + Wand & Tome
- Primary Stat: Wisdom + Dexterity
- Difficulty: Medium
The Templar is a better option for players that cannot match the skill ceiling of an Invocator. The Templar makes use of the Sword and Shield to massively ramp up its survivability. This class is a must-try for anyone wanting to play a Support class, and with some training, is truly phenomenal in GvG play.
While this class has poor damage and is very mana hungry, it provides all the healing needed for both its user and their allies. It has access to plenty of crowd control with low cooldowns to keep enemies where it wants them. If enemies do try to target the Templar, it will prove the hardest support to take out of the fight, all while bolstering its allies with whatever they need.
