Summary
- Longbow is versatile, great for support and DPS builds with healing and mana recovery.
- Try all weapon combos early on, Longbow + Wand and Tome excel at healing support.
- Longbow + Crossbow offers a long-range artillery playstyle at the cost of mobility, while Longbow + Staff is best for large-scale PvP.
Throne and Liberty offers many different kinds of weapons. The Longbow is seen as one of the two main choices for players looking to play a Support, with the other being the Wand and Tome. However, the Longbow is also great in a lot of DPS builds thanks to its easy access to both healing and mana recovery.
Throne and Liberty: How to Level Up Fast
Getting to max level early in Thrones and Liberty means getting to partake in the engaging and thrilling endgame content.
Players who wish to pursue a more damage-focused ranged option might want to turn their gaze to the Staff or the Crossbow, but these will offer a different experience to the builds that make use of the Longbow. It is best to try out all weapon combinations early on in the game before players start investing heavily into their chosen two weapons.
1 Warden
Longbow + Sword and Shield
- Primary Stat: Dexterity & Strength
- Difficulty to Master: Moderate
When a player throws skills from the Sword and Shield weapon into their build, they will experience a spike in how tanky their character will be. The longbow also grants self-healing, and mana regeneration for a character with great survivability.
There are easier classes to play, and this gives an otherwise melee option plenty of range and sustainability. This class works especially well in a group of other players. The Sword and Shield is an amazing weapon to pair with any other weapon when making a tank. Almost all of the best tank builds in the game will make use of the Sword and Shield as a weapon choice.
2 Scout
Longbow + Crossbow
- Primary Stat: Dexterity & Perception
- Difficulty to Master: Easy
The Longbow and the Crossbow are two great long-range weapons that work even better together. The Crossbow has plenty of amazing Skills such as
Mother Nature's Protest and
Mana Exchange that allow for amazing synergy with the Longbow to make for an artillery playstyle. Players will not have a lot of mobility, so they will need to know where they can run the moment things get dangerous — as this is a notoriously glassy build.
Players will stand in place and rain down massive amounts of damage wherever their frontlining allies need. Players wanting to take their ranged DPS to a whole new level should look into playing a Scorpion. This is a very hard build to use optimally but will perform incredibly well in PvP game modes.
3 Seeker
Longbow + Wand and Tome
- Primary Stat: Wisdom
- Difficulty to Master: Moderate
This build combines two of the best healing weapons into one of the best healing options in the game. This build offers plenty of buffs for its allies, as well as healing for every situation. Each stat has an important part to play, and players will want to heavily invest in Wisdom.
Throne And Liberty: Amitoi Expeditions Guide
Sometimes a quest tells you where to go, but not how to get there. Such is the case for Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty.
This build has several shortcomings. It has low damage output, low movement, and is glassy. This means players will want all the aggro on their allies, while they act as rear support. Despite all of its shortcomings, the Seeker remains one of the best Support build choices in Throne and Liberty.
4 Ranger
Longbow + Greatsword
- Primary Stat: Dexterity & Strength
- Difficulty to Master: Moderate
Players who want to deal plenty of damage and heal up afterward might want to look to the Ranger. The Ranger does not have as much defense as other melee-focused builds, but the longbow grants self-healing and mana recovery.
This can allow them to charge in, deal massive burst damage, and then recover while reading for their next assault. This build does offer some area of effect crowd control, but not so much AoE damage, so it is best to focus on a single target at a time.
5 Infiltrator
Longbow + Daggers
- Primary Stat: Dexterity & Perception
- Difficulty to Master: Easy
Players who want to spike their critical hit game will want to throw Daggers into the mix. Daggers will provide plenty of escape and mobility, which balances out how glassy the build will be.
Players will be able to deal out massive single-target damage and then relocate, or continuously deal damage behind the safety of their allies. Players can also make use of their Longbow skills to help patch up allies and act as a utility healer when not acting as a DPS. This allows the build to be incredibly versatile to help finish off enemies and patch up allies on the brink while remaining mobile.
6 Liberator
Longbow + Staff
- Primary Stat: Dexterity & Strength
- Difficulty to Master: Moderate
Another option for playing an artillery playstyle will be to pair the skills of a Staff alongside those of the Longbow. Players can provide continuous damage to support their allies as a DPS, but they will not be able to take much damage. This is also a build that will not have as much of a safety net, so they will want to always have a path to fall back on or have their allies acting as a buffer between them and their enemies.
The Liberator is a class that does not work too well in small-scale PvP or PvE, but it excels unbelievably well in large-scale PvP, also known as Guild vs. Guild — which includes game modes like Castle Siege.
