PvP is a highlight of many games, and Throne and Liberty is no exception. There are many different PvP game modes, including Arena, Riftstone Wars, Moonstone Wars, and Castle Siege. Different modes have different player counts, and some builds work better than others depending on the mode.
Knowing the strongest Throne and Liberty PvP builds is important, but it is more important to be able to play those builds effectively. This means assigning points to the right stats and putting in a lot of time and training to perfect a build that players will also enjoy using.
Throne and Liberty: How to Level Up Fast
Getting to max level early in Thrones and Liberty means getting to partake in the engaging and thrilling endgame content.
6 Berserker
Sword & Shield + Dagger
- Primary Stat: Strength
- Difficulty: High
Berserkers have a lot of great positives, but there is an equally large list of reasons to be wary of playing one. Berserkers' use of Daggers gives them lots of mobility and survivability, helping them stay alive and healthy on the frontlines. This meshes well with the Sword and Shield to make the player incredibly tanky when hit by enemies.
But as mentioned, there are points to be wary of. Berserkers have lengthy cooldowns, so players will need to be on the ball at all times, and always be prepared to use their next skill the moment it's ready. They do not have much crowd control, nor are they good when surrounded. Their high mobility lets them prevent being swarmed, but it does not help raise their damage — an area in which the Sword and Shield tends to struggle.
5 Infiltrator
Longbow + Daggers
- Primary Stat: Perception
- Difficulty: Medium
The Longbow is an amazing utility weapon that can bring out the best in other weapons. The same is true for Daggers, thanks to their focus on critical hits. When the two amazing PvP weapons come together, they function as a build that lets players recover and adapt better than a purely DPS-focused one.
Having a Longbow means access to both Nature’s Blessing and Healing Touch. This means that players can adapt to whatever situation they find themselves in, and perform well at any range. They will be able to dish out large amounts of burst damage while staying at a safe distance. This will be important as they cannot afford to burn through all of their escape options and get surrounded; otherwise, they’ll be in the worst possible position for this build.
4 Ravager
Greatsword + Daggers
- Primary Stat: Strength
- Difficulty: High
While the Sword and Shield is known to make builds tanky, having a Greatsword is the next best thing. A Greatsword also means access to a lot of massive burst damage, which will increase even higher thanks to this build's focus on critical hits. This build hits hard, can take a beating, can close the distance on enemies, and get players out of bad situations. This makes the Ravager an aggressive frontliner that can afford to take risks.
Throne and Liberty: Training Dew Explained
Not knowing where to get Training Dew can significantly slow down how fast you master your weapons.
Players will need to master this class if they intend to be of value to their team, which means a lot of time practicing skill rotations. Using both a Greatsword and Daggers means players must commit to being a melee-focused character at all times. This is also a class that opponents will start to get used to and be able to counter more effectively.
3 Scorpion
Crossbow + Daggers
- Primary Stat: Dexterity
- Difficulty: High
This is a great choice for players wanting to speed through the game world. Having a DPS machine is always a good thing, and the Scorpion is a build for players looking to be just that. Scorpions may be fragile, but they have plenty of mobility and means of escaping danger. They are the perfect class to attack from out of nowhere from any range, and can deal incredibly high damage numbers.
Again, this class is fragile, and players that often get into close-range confrontations may be better off with something more tanky. On the other hand, tankier classes will need to commit to a specific playstyle, while Scorpions thrive on being very versatile. Players struggling may want to check their key bindings, in case they want to change things to find a layout that makes things easier.
2 Templar
Sword & Shield + Wand & Tome
- Primary Stats: Dexterity & Wisdom
- Difficulty: Medium
The Templar is a brilliant support build, as it will be able to heal up its allies and have access to plenty of crowd control. While Templars can contribute some damage, they won’t see the same damage numbers as dedicated DPS builds. Thanks to having a Sword and Shield as one of their two weapon types, they can also afford to take any hits that come their way.
Throne And Liberty: Amitoi Expeditions Guide
Sometimes a quest tells you where to go, but not how to get there. Such is the case for Amitoi House in Throne and Liberty.
The downsides of a Templar are that it heavily relies on having in-depth knowledge of all its components. Players will need to keep track of everything from the order of the gear they upgrade to how fast they are burning through their mana — which they will do at a rapid pace. Players will not be able to hold their own as a Templar, as this build suffers from low DPS.
1 Crusader
Greatsword + Sword & Shield
- Primary Stat: Strength
- Difficulty: Low
Every build has a learning curve and skill rotation, but the Crusader is easier to get the hang of compared to most of them. This build is a juggernaut of terror in the right hands, being arguably the most tanky of builds while still dealing high damage. Overall, this build can go from start to endgame. Players learn everything they need to play it by leveling up — though don't expect PvP builds to work the same way as their PvE counterparts.
This build is predictable, but that doesn’t matter. Opponents will try to deal with a Crusader, but it will just keep playing to its strengths. This is a pure melee build, but can still close the gap and wreak havoc with a wide range for control and heavy hitting skills.
