The Hype House bus, once used by popular TikTok stars like Addison Rae, has resurfaced online after being found abandoned on the road in a wrecked state. The vehicle used to be exploited by its TikTok celebrity owners for content creation, but its current appearance is not as exciting anymore.

In 2019, social media users saw the rise of the TikTok collective named "The Hype House," formed by various social media stars such as Addison Rae, Charli D'Amelio, and more. At one point, in 2020, the Hype House got its own TV show documenting its young members' lives as content creators living in their shared mansion. Later that same year, the group was gifted a customized school bus called "The Hype House Bus," which allowed the TikTok stars to film videos while on the go. Years later, after many controversies and several changes in its member line-up, the Hype House is no longer as popular. The Hype House Bus, however, is gaining traction once again due to a video revealing its current circumstances.

New Data Reveals Most Popular Games on TikTok

New TikTok data reveals the most popular games to be shown on the platform, with the top title surprising many in the gaming community.

On August 1, The Hollywood Fix spotted the Hype House Bus on the side of the road in Los Angeles, California. The vehicle can be seen in an abandoned state, seemingly forgotten by its owners. Its outer paint has faded from enduring the sun and some of its windows have apparently been vandalized. The bus still features the faces of some of the then-members of the Hype House, though a lot of the artwork is now discolored. Many things have changed since the Hype House Bus debuted online. Not only has the Hype House lost its trendiness, but its biggest stars, like Charli D'Amelio, are no longer TikTok's top content creators.

Hype House Bus Found Abandoned and Damaged on the Road

The Hype House Bus was a customized gift from popular YouTuber ZHC to his TikToker friends. He and his team hand-painted its outer features and redecorated the interior by adding new seats, a ring light, a TV, and even a gaming console. Now, the vehicle is seen completely empty. In 2023, the original Hype House mansion was put on sale as well. Most of these TikTok stars continue to make a good living through TikTok though, even when the platform itself has had its own turbulent year. Recently, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) sued TikTok, claiming the app collects data on millions of children.

TikTok had previously sued the US Government over its attempts to ban the platform in the country's territory. In response to earlier threats of ban, TikTok has stated that banning the app would not follow American free speech values. However, the platform's evident shortcomings in balancing user privacy and the protection of minors have only led to more legal troubles.
