Tiny Tina's Wonderlands features a huge number of possible character builds, especially due to all the multiclassing options available. Gloombringer Tank Build

Tiny Tinas Wonderlands_Gloombringer

This build is designed to make the Fatemaker tremendously difficult to kill by stacking effects that increase their ability to resist damage and increasing their max health/ward. While it doesn't focus on them as much as other builds, the Gloombringer also gets two pets in the form of a Wyvern and a Demi-Lich.

Using the skills Radiance (Clawbringer Tier 1) and Mortal Vessel (Graveborn Tier 1) grants this build +30% maximum Ward Capacity and +15% Maximum Health early on. This can later be improved further using skills like Ascension (Graveborn Tier 4) to boost Maximum Health via the kill skill. Meanwhile, combining the skills Rebuke (Clawbringer Tier 2) and Storm Breath (Clawbringer Tier 4) will grant this build a 27% damage reduction bonus. This allows it to stretch that extra health and ward even further.

The build also has a focus on dark magic damage intended to allow it to consistently refill its health via lifesteal. Dark Pact (Graveborn Tier 2) adds 20% to all dark magic damage dealt, while Stain of the Soul adds 20% bonus dark magic damage to all spells cast, allowing the Gloombringer to consistently deal dark magic damage and restore its health.

Oath of Fire (Clawbringer Tier 1) is also useful here, providing 20% bonus fire damage to all the Graveborn's attacks, acting as a handy source of extra damage and diversifying the builds damage types slightly. Oath of Fire pairs very well with Reaper of Bones (Graveborn Action Skill) for dishing out multiple types of elemental damage simultaneously. Reaper of Bones also adds another way for the Fatebringer to cheat death, alongside the Indomitable (Clawbringer Tier 5) and Dread Covenant (Graveborn Tier 3) skills.

With Reaper of Bones, Indomitable, and Dread Covenant, this build can effectively cheat death regularly, even if foes get through its impressive defenses. Players may also get decent mileage out of the Dire Sacrifice Action Skill from Graveborn, as it allows for consistent AoE dark magic damage.

Stats (Background: Failed Monk)

  • Strength: 6. This stat simply isn't very important to this build, as it doesn't really prioritise critical damage.
  • Dexterity: 8. This stat also isn't terribly important to the build, for the same reasons given for strength.
  • Intelligence: 33. Having faster spell cooldown rate is very useful to this build for regularly restoring health.
  • Wisdom: 29. This build does a lot of elemental damage, so increased status effect damage is useful.
  • Constitution: 30. This build lives and dies on being able to take hits, so boosting Constitution as much as possible is critical.
  • Attunement: 10. This build has good action skills but doesn't need them constantly, though players wishing to use them more often could choose to put the points from Wisdom into Attunement instead.

Gloombringer Tank Skills

Clawbringer Skills (Points Spent: 21)

  • Tier 1: Oath of Fire (4/5): Grants 20% additional fire damage as a bonus to all gun damage the Fatemaker deals.
  • Tier 1: Radiance (5/5): Grants a 30% boost to maximum ward capacity, making the Fatemaker far more resilient.
  • Tier 2: Dedication (5/5): Grants the Fatemaker a boost to Action Skill Cooldown rate based on how much of their ward is left. Caps at a 25% boost. Useful for pulling off Dire Sacrifice or Reaper of Bones more regularly.
  • Tier 2: Rebuke (5/5): Grants a 15% damage reduction bonus to the Fatemaker.
  • Tier 4: Storm Breath (1/1): Grants the Fatemaker a 12% damage reduction bonus while granting the Wyvern Companion a lightning breath attack that can arc from enemy to enemy. This skill is useful for making the Fatemaker harder to kill.
  • Tier 5: Indomitable (1/1): If the Fatemaker enters Save Your Soul, their ward instantly refills, and they deal 20% bonus lightning damage for 20 seconds. This skill has a 120-second cooldown between uses, and makes the Fatemaker far sturdier in combat.

Graveborn Skills (Points Spent: 23)

  • Tier 1: Mortal Vessel (5/5): Grants the Fatemaker +15% Maximum Health and Dark Magic Efficiency, allowing them to more easily tank hits and heal back up.
  • Tier 2: Sanguine Sacrament (3/3): The Fatemaker regenerates 15% health per second for 2 seconds whenever they cast a spell, allowing them to heal themselves without needing to rely on finding potions.
  • Tier 2: Dark Pact (5/5): Grants the Fatemaker +20% Dark Magic Damage. Dark Magic damage is fairly easy to deal with this build and has a lifesteal effect, making this an excellent pick.
  • Tier 3: Dread Covenant (1/1): This skill redirects 35% of damage taken by the Fatemaker to their Demi-Lich, and allows the Demi-Lich to sacrifice itself to save them when they reach 1 health. Combined with the damage reduction and ward boosting skills taken from Clawbringer, and the additional max health from skills like Mortal Vessel, this makes the Fatemaker very hard to down. This can only activate once every 120-seconds.
  • Tier 3: Stain of the Soul (5/5): This adds 20% bonus dark magic damage to all spells, allowing the Fatemaker to benefit from Dark Pact, and heal themselves with any spell they choose to equip.
  • Tier 4: Ascension (3/3): This Kill Skill grants +6% to Maximum Health and Spell Damage whenever an enemy dies, and stacks up to 10 times.
  • Tier 5: Lord of Edges (1/1): This skill improves the Fatemaker's Damage Dealt and Damage Reduction as their health decreases, capping at +25% to each. This makes the Fatemaker progressively harder to deal damage to as their health decreases.
