Players who are trying to complete all the World Quests in Titan Quest 2 will need to tackle the Headhunt mission at some point, which consists of destroying the four Commanders of the Icthian forces invading the Flooded Farmlands, and claiming their Medallions as proof of their deaths.
This quest can be tricky, since these powerful enemies use not only swarm tactics to defend themselves, but dangerous abilities that can one-shot unprepared players. Here's where to find each of the Icthian Commanders, and how to deal with them to complete the Headhunt Quest.
How To Complete Headhunt in Titan Quest 2
To start Headhunt in Titan Quest 2, players need to go to Pyrgos Village, and talk to the commander of the defensive forces Rizon, who will assign them the task of eliminating the Commanders of the Icthian army invading the Flooded Farmlands, and attacking Pyrgos. But first, players need to go through a test and eliminate an Icthian Brute who is being held in a padlock just left from the location of Rizon.
Enter the padlock and eliminate the strong enemy, then go back to Rizon for further details. Now, he will pinpoint the approximate location of the four Icthian Commanders, and tell players to bring back their medallions as proof of their deaths.
The first Icthian Commander can be found Northeast of Pyrgos, crossing the wooden bridges into the swampy area and then turning south. They will find this Boss among other Icthians holding out a camp. Deal with him and take his medallion (as well as other loot he drops). These Icthian Commanders also have a chance to drop Ornamental Armor and Weapons, which are Green Items considered Uncommon drops.
The second Icthian Commander lies a little bit further north from the position of the first, and in this case, it is an Icthian Shaman, so be careful with his frost attacks that can lock players in place and make the rest of the enemy group swarm them with ease. Be careful as there's a quest nearby that requires players to kill a swarm of King Crabs, and if these enemies gather around while the player is dealing with the commander, it's going to be harder to deal with both groups of enemies banding together.
The third Icthian Commander is located just north of The Enclave, and if players cross the swamplands there they will be able to locate it easily, surrounded by other Icthian forces, Turtles, and King Crabs. Be careful with its ranged attacks, which cause the Plague Ailment (Poison).
The fourth and final Icthian Commander can be found north of the Secluded Beach (the place where players can also complete the Heroic Spirit Quest). Just follow the rocky path and climb the cliffs to reach the Icthian camp where the Commander is waiting. This one is a Brute, so it causes heavy physical damage and can take lots of damage as well. Once players are done with this boss, they should pick up his medallion and go back to Pyrgos Village to report to Lochagos Rizon to finish the quest.
