Titan Quest 2 brought new enemies to beat, new cool and powerful gear to obtain, and tons of missions, including Wings and Fangs, one of the World Quests players will need to complete upon arriving at Pyrgos Village. At first sight, it might look like a search and destroy quest, but looking at it carefully, it can get a bit tricky to pinpoint the place where players need to go.
So, in this guide, those aiming to become powerful Spartan Warriors (or Divine Sorcerers) will find a concise walkthrough of Wings and Fangs, including the location of the angry Minyades, and how to solve Otus' request.
How To Complete Wings and Fangs in Titan Quest 2
To start Wings and Fangs in Titan Quest 2, players need to talk to Otus, an NPC located at the Northwestern end of Pyrgos. Once they do so, he will inform them of a race of intelligent and 'formerly friendly' monsters named Minyades, who are now suddenly becoming aggressive. He will task players with the resolution of this conflict, and so, the heroes will need to go and find what is causing them distress.
Next, players need to travel northeast, exiting the village through the elevator, and keep heading north until they find the Southern Farmlands waypoint. From there, head east to a suspicious rock formation, which has a few caves that can be interacted with. These 'screeching caves' cannot be accessed, but if players keep climbing the formation, they will find a band of Icthians doing something extremely noisy with their shields (don't worry, they are not boss-level enemies), and rousing the Minyades. Here's what to do:
- Use single-target skills and kill the 'noisy Icthians' (Shield-bearers).
- Avoid killing the Minyades (winged beasts) that are aggressive and fight everything in the area (including the players).
- Once all Ichtian Shield-bearers are dead, the Minyades will become friendly again.
Once they have completed these steps, players can talk to the Minyade Leader to receive partial rewards based on the number of Minyades left alive during the onslaught. The Minyade Leader will give them a Shiny Stone as thanks and send them back to Otus to complete the quest. In exchange for this shiny bauble, players will receive 4555 Exp and 255 Gold, which is a meager reward considering that most World Quests grant Attribute Points, but still adds up to the leveling effort.
