While you pursue the main objective for each episode of to a T, there is lots of side things for you to pursue. Aside from collecting every single Hospa coin in sight, there is also the occasional mini-game that you can find. Early on during Episode Three, your objective will be to reach the other end of the maze. In the middle of this space is a popcorn vendor who is running a mini-game. While this mini-game isn't part of the main story, it is worth taking the time to do if you want to unlock the reward for reaching first or if you simply want to get every achievement in the game.

How the Popcorn Game Works

The rules for the Popcorn Game are simple. Your goal is to eat as much popcorn as you can within one minute. In order to unlock the achievement, you will need to get first place in this mini-game. Doing this requires you to eat at least 100 popcorn within the time limit.

Dashing toward popcorn will help a lot with this mini-game. The popcorn that falls onto the ground will only stay around for a short time, so you will need to collect as much as you can. So prioritize the popcorn that has dropped first, but keep an eye out for when the cannon appears on the vendor's stall.

One of the best ways to get a huge amount of popcorn in a short amount of time is to get right in front of the cannon so that all the rapid-fire popcorn launches right into you as opposed to the nearby wall. The problem with this is that the cannon sometimes moves too quickly, and it can be difficult to keep up with. If you are struggling with this method, look instead for the spot where all the popcorn is ricocheting off of the wall and stand right on that spot. If done correctly, the popcorn will land right on you, and you just have to periodically adjust where you are standing.

If you can successfully make the most out of each volley of popcorn from the cannon, you can easily get over 100 points and unlock the achievement.

Reward for Getting 1st Place in the Popcorn Game

The reward for getting first place in this mini-game is a hairstyle. Unfortunately, the barber shop doesn't unlock until later on in the game, so you will have to wait a while before you can see your hard-earned reward.
