There are several areas that players will visit throughout Toem, a charming action-adventure game with a gorgeous art style. In each area, completing every available quest will give the player a specific achievement. In Kiiruberg, that's the "Ice Fighter" trophy.
Kiiruberg is essentially the final area of Toem, where players will clean up their final tasks for 100% completion. There are 13 quests to complete here, but two of them will require a bit of backtracking to previous locations. Out of all the areas in the game, this one will require the most moving around to get the achievement.
Play Astronaut
What better way to end Toem than going into space? This quest will automatically be picked up when players first reach Kiiruberg. The description states "Go on a space adventure with a planet, an alien, and your trusted space helmet!" This will all take place in and around the Observatory. To get there, simply go up three times from the Bus Stop. The Helmet is located in a gift box just outside the observatory (it's on the ground level, go left around the lowest ledge).
Equip the Space Helmet and go into the Observatory. Floating on the right side of the room is a Tato Alien. Hanging around the room are a few planet models. Using selfie mode on the camera, take a picture that includes the main character (wearing the Space Helmet), the Tato Alien, and any of the hanging planets. Taking the correct picture will immediately complete the quest.
Become a Yeti
This quest will automatically be picked up when players first reach Kiiruberg. The description states "Time to Yeti Out of Here!" Players need to find a wooden photo op board with a Yeti painted on it, then take a selfie with it.
From the balloon family's house, go right once to the area at the bottom of the ski lift. Interact with the Yeti-painted board to step up behind it. Take the camera out and put it in selfie mode, then snap a photo of the main character.
Snowball Memories
This quest can be picked up in the same area as 'Listen to the Goat Choir,' mentioned below. Talk with the old man standing between the house and the frozen lake, and he'll tell story about a fond memory of an oversized snowball. As he's telling the story, players will receive the Climbing Boots (equip them immediately). When he's done, he'll give players the task of climbing to the summit of the blockish mountain just right of the snowman.
With the Climbing Boots equipped, climb up each chain until reaching the flag at the top. Take out the camera and pan around to find a large snowball with all sorts of debris in it. Take a photo of the snowball and bring it back to the old man to complete the quest. Players will receive the Puffer Hat as a reward.
Birthday in Distress
From the Bus Station, go up once to find the balloon family's house, where this quest will start. In front of the house with the door is a small party setup. Talk to the balloons, and they'll panic about a strong gust of wind that took their son away. The player will, of course, need to go find him and bring him back.
From the balloon family's house, go up once (this requires the Climbing Boots mentioned above) and once right (use the Honk attachment on the ice block to break it). Once across the bridge, climb up the next ledge to find the balloon son. Interact with the Son. In order to help him, the player will tie him to their belt. Take him back to his parents to complete the quest.
Listen to the Goat Choir
From the balloon family's house, go left once to find the sign that will "start" the Goat Choir. Interact with it, and when asked if about listening to the choir, choose "yes." Sit on the bench as instructed, and the sign will come to the drastic conclusion that all the goats are missing. There are three in total, all of which the players will need to find. When they're located, stare at them through the camera until the circle in the middle of the screen fills up, at which point they'll return to the choir area.
- The first Goat is located at the top of the ski lift. It's on the mountain just to the right of the picnic area.
- The second Goat is located in the area with the Yeti (from the balloon family's house, go up twice). Stand on the highest point of the mountain, on the Northern side of the bridge. Equip the camera and pan to the right to see the goat standing on the mountain top.
- The third Goat is located in the area with the balloon family's house. Equip the camera and pan around, looking at the peak of the mountains, to find the goat on the Bus Station side of the area. Players can actually see this one when talking to the balloon family, since the mountain it sits on is so high.
When all three have been found, head way back to the choir area with the talking sign and listen to their show. Hit "Continue Adventure" at any point to complete the quest.
Assemble a Snowman
From the balloon family's house, go up once to find this quest. When first entering the area, there will be a large snowball with some arms and legs sticking out of it. Pull out the camera and use the Honk attachment at the snowman. It will blow up into pieces and a man will appear, slightly upset that his precious snowman is now scattered. The player will now need to find the snowman's Torso and Head.
- The Torso can be found on the picnic table at the bottom of the ski lift (from the balloon family's house, go right once).
- The Head can be found on top of a tree at the top of the ski lift (it'll be the tree just next to the highest ramp).
Take a picture of both parts and return to the man.
Photo Challenge #7
The Scout who gives this challenge is in the same area where the snowman is destroyed for 'Assemble a Snowman'. The Climbing Boots are required, so make sure to complete the quest 'Snowball Memories' before starting. Climb up the middle wall, and the Scout will give the player the challenge to take three photos: The Moon, a Balloon Animal, and a Snowman.
- For the Moon, head to the very North area and enter the Observatory. Use the large telescope and take a photo of the Moon (not the comet that crashes into the planet).
- The Balloon Animal is located at the balloon family's house, tied to one of the chairs.
- The Snowman can be found in the area where the Goat Choir is located.
Take a picture of all three items and give the photos to the Scout.
Photo Challenge #8
This Scout can be found in the same area as the Yeti (from the balloon family's house, go up twice). At the top of the mountain, on the Southern side of the bridge, will be the Scout. The challenge she offers will be to take a photo of a "Wall of Lights."
Go down once (to the area with the Scout for Photo Challenge 7) and go inside the military base that's hidden in the snow on the left side of this area. In the back right corner is a panel with a lot of lights on it. Take a picture of the panel and return to the Scout. Show her the picture to complete this quest.
Military Suspicions
Players will do different parts of this quest in Oaklaville, Stanhamn, and Logcity. Specifically, this quest involves 'Suspicious Activity' quests that come in each area. Players will need to take a picture of a Mysterious Character in each area and show the photo to a hidden agent in the form of a Telescope. When all three photos have been taken (and showed them to their respective Telescopes), speak with the General in the secret military base in Kiiruberg. (From the balloon family's house, go up once, and it'll be on the left-hand side.)
Oaklaville
- The Telescope will be near one of the photo challenge Scouts. From the Hotel, go right once and then up once. It's inside the trash can on the right.
- The Mysterious Character will be i n the area where the 'Hide and Seek' quest took place. Stand on the ladder and equip the camera. The Character is hiding in the trees in the back right.
Stanham
- Before players can get to the Telescope, they will need to get the Honk attachment for their camera. This item is given as a reward for completing the quest 'Solve the Chaos' at the Lighthouse. They must also restore power to Stanhamn by completing the quest 'Power Shortage?!'. Use the Honk attachment to free the Ferry driver of seagulls and take the ferry up to the Hydro plant. From here, go right once. The Telescope is in one of the planters on the lower ledge.
- The Mysterious Character is back at the bus stop. He's hiding just under the first bridge right after the travel kiosk.
Logcity
- From the clock tower, go up once to the area where the Fashion Show takes place. Just up the first small flight of stairs on the left will be the Telescope in a trash pile.
- From the clock tower, go left once to the area with the busy road. Cross the road and go towards the arrow, but don't actually go up into the next area. While standing near the arrow, equip the camera and pan around to the left. Under the stairs will be the Mysterious Character.
Yeti Cuteness
This quest can be picked up from the Yeti, which is in the same area as the Scout for Photo Challenge #8. Talk with the Yeti, and after a short conversation full of fluffiness, the player will need to take a photo of an equally cute critter he can befriend.
Go up to the Observatory and there will be an area with a lot of tiny little Fluff Balls running around. Take a photo of one and take it back to the Yeti.
Ancient Paintings
This quest is picked up from the Explorer, who is located just behind the Yeti cave. When the player talks to her, she'll show them an "amazing" ancient drawing on the side of the wall of the Yeti's cave. Five more Ancient Paintings need to be found: four are in Kiiruberg, and one is located in the Mountain Top.
- Painting #1 "Cosmic Sighting": In the area with the Yeti, there is a long chain that players can climb using the Climbing Boots to reach the top of the mountain. Just to the left of this chain in the painting.
- Painting #2 "Rock Climber": At the Observatory, the drawing is on the rock wall just underneath the bridge.
- Painting #3 "Horse Riding": In the area with photo challenge Scout #7, the painting is on the wall leading up to the Scout.
- Painting #4 "Fire Dance": In the area with the old man that gave the player the Climbing Boots and Puffer Hat, the painting is on the wall just behind the snowman.
- Painting #5 "Cosmic Gem": This one is located in Mountain Top. After climbing up the first tall section of the mountain, players will be able to climb up and over the next ledge just before the first bridge. The painting is on the wall just below the said bridge.
Return to the Explorer with the pictures of all five paintings and show them to her to complete this quest.
Locating an Asteroid
This quest is picked up in the Observatory in the very top section of Kiiruberg. Go into the Observatory and talk to the Scientist. After he calms down from his "Eureka!" Moment, go up the stairs and get into the Telescope. To the right of the Moon is an Asteroid. Using the Telescope, stare at the Asteroid until the circle in the middle of the screen fills. The Asteroid will then come crashing down from space. The Scientist will ask the player find where it landed and to take a picture of it.
The Asteroid can be found in the same area as the photo challenge Scout #7. Take a picture of the Asteroid and show it to the Scientist to complete the quest.
Ice Wizard's Research
This quest will require the player to go back to Oaklaville, Stanhamn, and Logcity. The quest begins in the windy area of Kiiruberg (from the Yeti, go right once). Players need the Honk attachment to break the ice block in their way. Once in the windy area, there is another ice block up on a high ledge, just across the next bridge. Break the block with the Honk attachment, and a Cosmic Researcher will be freed.
The researcher will instruct the player to meet him back at his tower. To get to the tower, go back left once, down once, and then left once more. When first arriving at the tower, it will be freezing. The Researcher won't talk to the player just yet, so the heat needs to be turned on. In the back right corner is a Cosmic Cube. Take a picture of the cube and the fireplace will light up, warming up the room. Talk with the Cosmic Researcher, and he'll ask for help finding all the Cosmic Cubes in each area and activating them by taking pictures.
Oaklaville: Two Cubes
- From the Hotel, go left once to the area with the picnic table and plant pots. There is a Cosmic Cube underneath the stairs leading up to the higher ledge. Stand on the side of the stairs to see it. When the player takes the picture of the cube, a Mushroom House will grow out of the ground.
- From the Hotel, go right once to the Campsite area with all the Scouts. On the right side of the cabin is a row of trees. In the back of the trees will be the Cosmic Cube. Take a picture of the cube, and a Pet Rock will appear by the larger rocks in this area. The Pet Rock isn't part of any quests, but is needed to fill out the compendium.
Stanhamn: One Cube
From the Bus Stop, go left twice to the area with the Shy Hippo. Down on the beach is a lady complaining about a block behind her that is blocking the rays from the sun. Equip the camera and look out in the ocean to find the Cosmic Cube. Take a picture of it, and the block will move out of the way of the sun. This will also complete the quest 'A Good Spot with No Sun'.
Logcity: Two Cubes
- From the clock tower, go right once and then up once to the area with the Art Gallery. On the ground in the parking lot to the right is a sewer cap. Interact with it to hear the pleas of the poor fellow that fell into the sewer. To get him out, equip the camera, turn around, and look up. Sticking outside the tall building is a Cosmic Cube. Take a picture of the cube, and water will shoot out from the sewer, saving the businessman. This will also complete the quest 'Sewer Stumble!'
- From the clock tower, go up once to find the area where Granny has flipped her car. To flip the car right-side up, go all the way up the stairs on the left. The balcony at the top will extend past the buildings just a tad, allowing the player to see behind them. Stand so the back of the building is visible and equip the camera. Look down across the way to find a Cosmic Cube sitting in a pile of trash. Take a picture of the cube, and it'll cause the cube to flip Granny's car back upright. This will also complete the quest 'Always Tumbled Granny.'
When all the Cosmic Cubes have been found and activated, return to the Cosmic Researcher to complete the quest.
