Every level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 has a Secret Tape hidden somewhere in the level. Though the goals flythrough that plays at the start of each level shows a hint at the location of each Secret Tape, they aren't necessarily always easy to find.

Every stat in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 provides specific boosts to your skating abilities, but some stats are better than others.

On some levels, like THPS 3+4's College level, Secret Tapes can only be found by following a specific route to get to a secret location. Follow this guide to learn the correct route to get to the top of the level and reach the College Secret Tape location in THPS 3+4.

How To Get The College Secret Tape In THPS 3+4

To get the Secret Tape in the College level, THPS 3+4 players must get to the top of the buildings on the right side of the level, from a spawn point perspective. Essentially, you must wallride to reach to a wire that leads to the first building, grind it, grind another wire that connects to another building, jump onto a brick building, then grind one final wire to reach the College level Secret Tape location.

Follow these specific steps to complete this challenge and get the THPS 3+4 College Secret Tape:

  1. From the start point on College, g​o up the street to the left until you pass the first pillar on the wall on your right
  2. Turn around, then jump onto the wall before the pillar, Wallride to the top, then grind for about a second
  3. Jump off the wall to the right and grind the banner string. Ahead, look for a black wire that leads to the rooftop to the left
  4. About halfway across the banner string, jump left onto the wire and grind it to reach the rooftop. You will need to perform tricks while grinding to maintain your speed.
  5. Jump onto the rooftop to the left before the end of the wire to avoid falling off. If you grind the entire length of the wire, you will fall to the ground at the end.
  6. On the first rooftop, ride toward the corner closest to the sculpture square, and you will see another black wire that connects to the roof opposite.
  7. Grind the right-side lip of the rooftop half pipes (as you land on the roof), and you will automatically continue your grind onto this wire. Once again, perform tricks while grinding to build up speed and make it to the end.
  8. Jump to the left once you reach the other side, then turn sharply left and jump off this rooftop onto the brick building. Don't turn too sharply or you may fall through a gap in the rooftop.
  9. Look for a wire that leads up to the Secret Tape connected to the back right corner (as you land on the roof).
  10. Back up to the other side, turn around, gain some speed, then start your grind on the left side of the rooftop to shift onto the Secret Tape wire automatically.
  11. The wire that leads to the College Secret Tape location has a steep incline and is longer than the other two wires on this route. You will need to perform a lot of grab and flip tricks as you grind up this wire to reach the Secret Tape.

You can find another secret connected to this rooftop, too. There are two wires that extend over the level that lead away from this rooftop: one leads to the Secret Tape, and the other leads to an Iron Galaxy logo, which unlocks new items for purchase in the Secret Shop.

You can't get both of these in the same go, so follow the same steps to get the College Secret Tape to get back to the brick rooftop. Instead of grinding the side that's closest to the park to get to the Secret Tape, grind the side on the right that leads over the plaza. This ledge automatically connects you to the wire that leads to the Iron Galaxy secret shop collectible.
