With a huge open world to explore and plenty of secrets to find, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game that allows players much freedom in how they want to play. While story progression is always key to overall development, Link can always divert his attention to other matters at hand, such as picking up collectibles or engaging in side quests.

There are certain side quests that will encourage players to check out areas of Hyrule that they might not necessarily feel the need to, and in Eldin's Colossal Fossil, here lies an opportunity for some sightseeing and helping someone out for some monetary rewards in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

With the fossil's location now marked on the Pura Pad, the hike to the first location can be a long one if players have not yet explored the surrounding area. The Eldin Great Skeleton is found near the Eldin Mountains, which are at the coordinates 1641, 3700, 0098.

Once at the destination, it is time to discern just what is missing from the giant fossil. On close inspection, the clear missing part is that of an eye on the right side, and Link's job is to replace the eye and repair the fossil. While it may seem impossible to obtain a giant eye, the solution is thankfully nearby.

Look beneath the fossil, where the eyeball can be spied buried by some rocks. Use a weapon fused with stone or an arrow with a bomb flower attached and aim it at the rock formation to destroy them. Once the eye is free, utilize the Ultrahand ability and move the eyeball into the eye socket, be sure to rotate the eye so that it fits perfectly.
