The floating sky islands in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hold many secrets, including a number of hidden shrines. Rather than a puzzle on the inside, many of these shrines will challenge Link to retrieve a crystal from a boss or complex area. In Tears of the Kingdom, the Ganos Shrine follows this trend with a battle for players to overcome.
Ganos Shrine Location in TotK
In Tears of the Kingdom, players can find the Ganos Shrine above the Tabantha Frontier in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago. It's found around the coordinates -3370, 0467, 1695 and is quite high above Hyrule's surface.
The Rospro Pass or Lindor's Brow Skyview Towers will launch Link into the sky near the islands, but to reach the Tabantha Sky Archipelago, players will need to land on any nearby island to build a flying machine. Anything that can provide a decent amount of lift is recommended.
If players have received the Zora Armor, from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower, they are able to glide to the waterfall and swim up to the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago. There they can find pieces to build a flying machine and a ramp to help them lift off.
The Ganos shrine is located on a long floating island in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago surrounded by a field of low gravity.
Players will need to activate the Zonai terminal to begin the shrine quest "The Tabantha Sky Crystal" and begin the challenge.
Ganos Shrine Walkthrough
As with all shrine crystals, the goal of the challenge is to find and return the crystal to its rightful place by following a beam of light.

Though it can be difficult to see from the angle, the beam connecting the shrine to the crystal goes beneath the island to another below.
As they glide down to the circular island, players will find the crystal attached to a powerful Flux Construct. Hitting the glowing block crit spot will break the construct apart causing it to drop the crystal.
Though defeating the construct isn't strictly necessary, it's considerably easier to move the crystal without the threat of being crushed and highly recommended.
On the small square area attached to the island, players will find a pre-assembled flying machine that they can commandeer to transport the crystal back up to the higher island.
As a reminder, this area of sky is within a low gravity field, so the fans will propel the flying machine much further than normal. Even after stopping control of the vehicle, it will maintain some of its velocity and continue to move in the same direction.
A recommended plan of action is to position the vehicle above the island, holding it steady with no lateral movement. With no momentum side-to-side, the vehicle should drop relatively straight down.
With the crystal safely on the ground, players can bring it to the shrine to complete the quest.
Inside the Ganos Shrine, players will find a chest containing a diamond and a Light of Blessing from the statue as a reward for a successful challenge.
