There are 152 shrines to complete in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and almost all of them require players to complete a series of puzzles or explore around the environment with a keen eye. The Otutsum Shrine is a bit different where players will still need to travel to the shrine, but there are little to no challenges to complete it. This guide will show how to get to the shrine, any other requirements necessary for players to mark it off of their shrine list, and get closer to obtaining the Ancient Hero's Aspect armor set.

Otutsum Shrine Location in Tears of the Kingdom

zelda totk Otutsum Shrine map

The Otutsum Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is located in the Gerudo Highlands region with the exact coordinates of (-4468, -0670, 0509). It is wedged in a valley between the two mountain areas of Mount Agaat and Guerdo Summit.

Players can launch themselves from the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and use the paraglider to travel northwest toward the location. The flight will be long, so having an almost fully upgraded stamina ring, consuming stamina-replenishing elixirs, or using the Vow of Tulin's wind powers will help complete the trip without touching the ground.

The shrine is not in a cave or hidden from view, but an ill-timed blizzard may make it hard to see. It also requires players to have cold-resistant armor like the Snowquill Armor set to survive the harsh temperature. There is also a Frost Gleeok sitting on the Guerdo Summit and a White-Maned Lynel nearby. So, players should be careful around the area if they are not ready for a hard fight. Thankfully, both of the enemies are out of range of the shrine and will not follow players if they are fast enough.

There are no puzzles or challenges to complete inside the Otutsum Shrine. It is a Rauru's Blessing shrine where players can walk into the shrine, open a treasure chest containing a Topaz, and simply claim the Light of Blessing. While there may be not much difficulty in getting to the shrine for some, it is still far enough from any landmarks that it could be easily missed.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
