Silver Lizalfos are uncommon enemies in Tears of the Kingdom that primarily dwell in the dangerous underground Depths. These monsters will spawn only after the player has raised the world's difficulty by defeating enemies. Defeating enemies in Tears of the Kingdom contributes to a hidden experience bar that eventually unlocks these difficult enemies.
Therefore, to encounter Silver Lizalfos, the player should focus on vanquishing challenging enemies and minibosses, thus leveling up their world as quickly and effectively as possible. These formidable foes can also appear in limited locations on Hyrule's surface once the criteria have been met, though in significantly lower numbers.
Silver Lizalfos pose a formidable challenge due to their speed, high health, and strong attacks. Utilizing various materials and weapons that can inflict status ailments such as freeze or stun will be very helpful in taking down Silver Lizalfos. Where to Find Silver Lizalfos in Tears of the Kingdom
If the player has already encountered a Silver Lizalfos, they can utilize the Sensor+ upgrade for the Purah Pad to locate additional enemies. This upgrade enables the player to track specific items or enemies through the Hyrule Compendium, causing icons on the map to appear when they are nearby.
To track Silver Lizalfos, the player must either photograph a Silver Lizalfos or obtain a drop from them, such as the 
Silver Lizalfos Horn or 
Silver Lizalfos Tail. Once they have been cataloged, the player can then select the enemy or either of its drops to locate nearby Silver Lizalfos.
Silver Lizalfos Locations on Hyrule Surface
On Hyrule's Surface, Silver Lizalfos appear in specific areas after the player has defeated numerous difficult monsters to raise the world's difficulty. Silver Lizalfos will typically spawn in place of some of the previously toughest non-elemental Lizalfos, the Black Lizalfos. Silver Lizalfos can be found primarily in Lizalfos camps in the following locations:
- The northeastern region of Gerudo Desert, around the road leading to Gerudo Town.
- Southwest of Zora's Domain, on the hills surrounding Ruto Lake.
- Forested areas of the Faron region, particularly in Damel Forest, Sarjon Woods, and near the lakes east of Bronas Forest.
- Various Lizalfos camps in the mountains of the East Necluda region.
Silver Lizalfos Locations in Underground Depths
The majority of encounters with Silver Lizalfos take place in the Underground Depths. The Depths is filled with enemy camps infested with gloom-corrupted enemies, including Silver Lizalfos. Potential spawn locations for Silver Lizalfos have been marked on the map above. Silver Lizalfos can also be encountered in the Secluded Coliseum in West Necluda Depths after other enemies have been defeated. Again, these enemies will spawn only after the world’s level has increased through battling monsters.
Silver Lizalfos Drops and Uses
Defeating Silver Lizalfos in battle is rewarding because they drop the highest-level versions of regular Lizalfos' loot, including the Silver Lizalfos Horn and Silver Lizalfos Tail.
The Silver Lizalfos Horn is a visually imposing fusion for weapons that gives the weapon a cool scythe-like appearance and enhances its attack power by 34, making it one of the most potent fusions available. These horns are also necessary to upgrade the Ancient Hero's Aspect armor. Due to the difficulty of locating and defeating these enemies, Silver Lizalfos parts should not be used in the creation of elixirs.
The Silver Lizalfos Tail is another excellent fusion material for weapons, increasing attack power by 31. It grants attacks a "lashing, whiplike quality" as the tail extends from the weapon's tip, providing additional range to Link's melee strikes. Similar to the Silver Lizalfos Horn, there is no need to use these parts in elixirs.
