In order to craft new weapons in the Weapon Tree in Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll need to collect all sorts of different materials and monster parts.
For my playthrough, we went with the Hunting Horn as a solid secondary weapon, and I wanted to make a 
Bone Horn III, but I needed two pieces of

Monster Hunter Wilds' Post-Launch Roadmap is a Wild Card
Alongside its final pre-release trailer, Monster Hunter Wilds released its first Title Update roadmap, but it left a lot to the imagination.
How to Get Tough Guardian Bone in Monster Hunter Wilds
There's only one place to gather Tough Guardian Bones from: the Ruins of Wyveria, the fifth major biome you will unlock as you progress through your main story missions of Monster Hunter Wilds.
If you open the world map from a Base Camp, you can fast travel to Wyveria's camp and head east to find a very close Bonepile.
Once you approach it, hold the Circle button on PS5 (B on Xbox) to gather the resources from the spot. Just be mindful that you might not get a Tough Guardian Bone on your first try --you might need to visit other Bonepiles in the region if you're unlucky.
Once you're in Wyveria, you can open the map and look for the Bonepiles and then pin them and set a waypoint by clicking in the right stick. We managed to find some other Bonepiles northeast of Area 5 and west of Area 4. After you use a Bonepile gathering point in Monster Hunter Wilds, the resources should respawn in about 15 minutes. You can hover over the resource on the map, and a timer will appear.
It's also worth pointing out that you might earn Tough Guardian Bones as a reward for completing certain quests, so you'll have other opportunities to collect them if you are not actively seeking them out.
