UPDATE 12/16: Since the publication of this article, more information on the incident has come to light. A clip from a recent Nadia Twitch stream seemingly shows her doxxing a viewer who sent a hate message with a donation. This would explain why Twitch banned her for "sharing personal information." Despite this, Twitch has actually unbanned Nadia well before her 14-day ban was up.

Original story follows.

As of Thursday, December 15, controversial Twitch streamer Nadia Amine, best known for her Call of Duty: Warzone streamers, has been banned from the platform for 14 days. Nadia has been a rising star on Twitch, gaining attention for her impressive Call of Duty: Warzone gameplay. However, Nadia's streams have not been without controversy.

Nadia has been accused of cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone, with some saying that she uses wallhacks and aimbots to get an advantage over the competition. Despite these accusations, Nadia has not been banned from Call of Duty: Warzone, and in fact, she was even asked by Activision to play the game at a special pre-release event with many other popular content creators. Nadia has actually leaned into the cheat accusations, often making jokes about it on her streams and TikTok page.

Nadia's 14-day Twitch ban does not seem to have anything to do with Call of Duty: Warzone or potential cheating in the game. According to the streamer, she was banned from Twitch for "sharing personal information." Nadia does not seem to know specifically what she did on stream to trigger this ban, which underscores the ongoing frustrations streamers have Twitch ban policies.

There have been instances in the past where Twitch has lifted bans on streamers early, but it's unclear if that will happen with Nadia.

Nadia may very well be able to capitalize on this Twitch ban to grow her channel. Sometimes when big streamers come back from bans, they are greeted by an even larger audience that they left with, as their ban ironically gives their channel more attention and helps them become even more popular than they were before. As long as Nadia keeps her fans engaged on social media, it's quite possible the same will happen to her channel once her Twitch ban is over.

Hopefully Nadia's future Twitch streams can avoid running into problems like this or situations like when she was swatted live on stream. For now, Nadia fans can continue watching her TikTok videos and other content online while they wait for her to make her Twitch return.
