Ubisoft's first all-digital conference will be taking this place as part of the ongoing Summer Games Fest celebration. Replacing the traditional E3 Press Conference, Ubisoft Forward will offer players an exclusive look at its upcoming lineup of games including names like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, the new battle royal Hyper Scape, and hopefully a few surprises. With two planned streams including a pre-show and the main event, here's every game that fans can expect to see at Ubisoft Forward.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is easily the biggest upcoming release in Ubisoft's arsenal, due to release this holiday for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as being a confirmed launch title for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Developed by the team behind Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Origins, Valhalla is set during the Viking invasion of Britain in the ninth century and features a customizable protagonist, RPG mechanics as with the previous two games, naval combat, duel-wielding, and the return of Conquest Battles from Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The Xbox Series X event in May didn't live up to expectations when it came to showcasing new gameplay; however, it's unlikely Ubisoft would want to hold anything back this time around.

Hyper Scape

Last week, Ubisoft unveiled its new battle royale game, Hyper Scape. Currently in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the new game was prominently featured throughout the Ubisoft Forward teaser trailer, so it's safe to say we can expect to get a ton of new details and gameplay footage. Hyper Scape is a fast-paced, futuristic battle royale that features special abilities that can be found as loot, the ability to upgrade weapons, and a map that deteriorates from zone to zone instead of the same old shrinking circle. The game instantly made headlines due to its unique Twitch integration, which allows stream viewers to vote on game-changing effects that will influence the live game.

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Announced over three years ago during Ubisoft's E3 2017 press conference, Beyond Good and Evil 2 hasn't been heard from in well over a year at this point and currently has no confirmed release window of platforms. The prequel is under development at Ubisoft Montpellier with Michel Ancel, the creator of the Rayman series and director of the first game, returning to helm the new game after stepping away from his work on the dormant PlayStation 4 exclusive WiLD. It's unlikely that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be given any sort of significant screentime, yet it's possible that an update for the game could be one of the mentioned surprises and it's about time, even if Ubisoft was just to confirm that development was switched over to next-gen.

Gods & Monsters

Described as "an open-world action-adventure game full of epic battles and quests," Gods & Monsters is a fantasy game based in Greek mythology, with players facing off against mythical beasts like the Gorgons, Hydras, and Cyclopes, in order to save the gods from Typhon, the father of all monsters. Alongside both Watch Dogs Legion and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine, Gods & Monsters was delayed to the current fiscal year back in October 2019, meaning that it needs to be released before March 31, 2021. Ubisoft didn't confirm Gods & Monsters would make an appearance during its announcement; however, it's guaranteed to be one of the big games featured in the show given that Ubisoft is releasing five AAA games this fiscal year and it's one of them.

Far Cry 6

While a new game in the Far Cry series has never been officially announced by Ubisoft, Far Cry 6 has been heavily rumored for a long time now and an early 2021 release window would fit the pattern. Back in February, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier claimed that the five AAA Ubisoft games releasing this fiscal year included new games from Assassin's Creed and Far Cry, the former of which has since been confirmed. The latest update happened last week when Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito mentioned in an interview that he had completed work on a "huge" video game, believed to be a villain role in Far Cry 6.

Watch Dogs Legion

Next to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion is by far the most anticipated upcoming game from Ubisoft and one that's being pushed heavily in the lead up to Ubisoft Forward. The third game in the series is looking to change it up significantly from previous entries, taking place in a near-future cyberpunk rendition of London and giving players the ability to recruit and control absolutely any NPC in the game in order to take down a new powerful crime syndicate that's oppressing the people of Britain. Still scheduled for a 2020 launch, Watch Dogs Legion is thought to be a cross-generation game a potential launch title for the PS5 and Xbox Series X; however, players will have to wait till the main event to get any concrete details.

Ubisoft has announced it will be holding a one-hour pre-show event for Ubisoft Forward with new details on a number of new and old games including "Trackmania, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Just Dance 2020, The Division 2, and more." While its clear Ubisoft announced games ahead of time to manage expectations, it has promised that there will be at least a few surprises which may include some of its already announced games like Skull & Bones, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Roller Champions.

Ubisoft Forward takes place on July 12 at 12:00 PM PDT/11:00 PM CEST.
