The Brand New Friends event is now live in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, and there are a ton of free rewards like Support Points, Monies, and Carats to earn. There's also a free SRR Support Card up for grabs, so Umamusume trainers shouldn't miss this limited-time event.
This event centers around Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, who recently made their debut as SSR Support Cards in the most recent Umamusume banner. You don't need either of them to participate in the event, but using them and other featured Umamusume trainees and Support Cards will earn you bonus event points from career runs. You can complete most of the Brand New Friends challenges just by playing the game normally, too.

Several basic R Support Cards are also boosted during the Brand New Friends event, but there are way too many to list here, and their bonuses aren't that great. You can see the full list of bonus Support Cards and trainees on the Brand New Friends event page by tapping the Event Bonuses icon at the top of the screen.
As long as you factor in one or two of these featured Support Cards into your deck, you'll have an easy time racking up Event Points in career mode. These bonuses also give you an excuse to spend some Carats and pull for the new Support Cards, too.
