Umamusume Pretty Derby has gained quite a lot of popularity almost immediately after its worldwide release. And this is not surprising, since the game offers you the opportunity to become a trainer of Umamusume - unusual horse girls. Each of them has a unique character and stats, so you will want to get them all to take first place in the races. Therefore, in this guide, we will tell you about the pity system in Umamusume Pretty Derby.

Like any other Gacha game, Umamusume Pretty Derby, of course, does not give you all the characters. Instead, you need to hope for luck and farm Carats.

Umamusume Pretty Derby Pity System Explained

Umamusume character

First of all, you should learn how Gacha works in Umamusume Pretty Derby. Fortunately, it is almost no different from other popular Gacha RPGs. Players only need to complete missions, participate in events, and simply progress to earn Carats. This is the main currency that is used on banners to pull new characters and support cards.

However, Umamusume Pretty Derby still has one difference, namely the pity system. To be more precise, the local Gacha does not have such a feature. No matter how many pulls you make, the chances of getting SSR cards will not be the usual 50:50. But do not worry, because in return, you are guaranteed to get a featured card of the current banner.

Every time you pull, you get an Exchange Point. Having collected 200 of them, you can get the SSR of the current banner. But of course, in reality, this is much more difficult to do than it seems. Firstly, Exchange Points are not divided between banners. So you need to make 200 Pulls on one banner to use this pity system in Umamusume Pretty Derby.

Secondly, banners are active for a week, which is quite a short time to make 200 Pulls, especially for F2P players. When the banner ends, the unused Exchange Points will turn into Clover Points in Umamusume Pretty Derby. They can be used to buy various items in the shop, including Tickets.

Despite the fact that Umamusume Pretty Derby has an unusual pity system, it has the usual Gacha system for many players. This also applies to rates.

It is worth noting the Head Start Scout banner. Unlike others, it is guaranteed to reward you with a 3-star character for 10 pulls. But this is a one-time offer.

The rest of the banners have clear rates in Umamusume Pretty Derby. In addition, every tenth pull will slightly increase your chances of getting featured cards. So we recommend always spending 1500 Carats per 10 pulls.
