Once an area is liberated, players are free to visit any surrounding towns and check out the wares available. However, that is only the beginning, as these various cities and towns are still in a state of disrepair, and only by delivering the right materials can they stand up on their own again.
Fulfilling these delivery requests will also allow players to earn a combination of XP, Honors, and assorted items, with the activity becoming repeatable after the initial restoration stage. Restoring a town also adds the benefit of the ability to station one of your units as a guard in the area, which then eliminates the need to manually harvest resources at the different nodes in the area.
