How to Unlock More Personas for Wonder in Persona 5 Phantom X

There are several ways players can unlock new Personas to use with Wonder in P5: The Phantom X. Here are some of the best methods.

Some of the methods below will be locked until players progress through certain events in the story and level up Wonder.

  • Kiuchi's Palace: As part of the story, players will visit Kiuchi's Palace in the Metaverse to find his shadow. While exploring the castles, you'll encounter various shadow enemies to fight. After you win these battles, there's a slight chance for the Shadow to become part of Wonder's usable Personas.
  • Realm of Repression: Players can access the Persona tab of the Realm of Repression in the Metaverse, which lets them pick and choose which Personas to battle. Winning the fight will have a high chance of securing the Persona you've chosen to battle.
  • Gacha Pulls: Heading into the Contracts menu, trying to pull for either of the Phantom Idol banners will earn you multiple personas. If you received any dupes, they'll be converted to Clear Cognigems.

How to Switch & Upgrade Personas in P5X

Once you've unlocked multiple Personas for Wonder in P5X, head to the Velvet Room. Inside, select the Persona Training option, and select the Persona you want to level up. Select the upgrade materials required for leveling up, and confirm your choice. Personas will unlock new abilities as they level up, so make sure to periodically do so to maintain effectiveness in battle.

To switch Personas in P5X, in the same menu, click on Wonder's glasses icon in the top-right corner of the screen. This will open up a compendium of personas that you've accumulated so far. Here, you can select the Persona you want to equip on Wonder.
