Where Winds Meet is an upcoming free-to-play action RPG set in an open world. What sets it apart is the self-described Wuxia style of combat, and anyone familiar with that term may know it from Chinese cinematic stories like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Yakuza 3 was originally released in 2010 in North America for the PS3, and now it is returning once again with Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. It’s a remaster/remake which adds some new content, most notably giving players the perspective of one of the game’s core villains, Yoshitaka.
As either Yoshitaka or the main star of the Yakuza series, Kazuma, players can brawl in intense combat with their fists or anything they find in the streets, like a bike. Players can customize their moves with skill points and learn new combos so that they can look even more stylish in the streets of Japan.

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is another remaster/remake, but this one is based on an even older game. Dynasty Warriors 3 set the world ablaze on the PS2 in 2001, giving players dozens of characters to play with.

Glaciered is one of the most unique games coming out in 2026, as it’s technically a post-apocalyptic RPG. The Earth has been frozen, and all life now resides underwater. Players are a new type of hybrid creature called a Tuai, who can learn magical techniques and equip blade-like weapons on their wings.
Mutations can lead to stat boosts and abilities, while the blades are sort of loot-based, like in a Diablo game. For an undersea adventure, an area of gaming most players find annoying to navigate, Glaciered’s combat looks intense and fluid in the best way.
