Bounty Star has confirmed its October 23 release date, meaning Xbox Game Pass subscribers have yet another day one game to look forward to that month. When it comes to Xbox Game Pass, there are some months that are more exciting than others. For example, this past April was an absolutely phenomenal month for the service, with some of the best new game releases of the year launching as day one releases.
Back in April, those subscribed to the Ultimate tier of Xbox Game Pass were treated to brand-new day one games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Blue Prince. Not only that, but they also had the chance to check out The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, which was shadow dropped on Game Pass. While the full lineup has yet to be announced, this coming October looks like it could give April a run for its money, especially now that yet another day one game has announced its release date.

Bounty Star is Coming to Game Pass on October 23
It's been confirmed that day one Xbox Game Pass Bounty Star is coming on October 23. For those unfamiliar with the game, Bounty Star is a rather unique mech game where players engage in action typical of the genre while simultaneously diving into farming and base-building mechanics. Bounty Star also lets players customize their mech. Mech games are admittedly niche, but Bounty Star looks rather promising, and those signed up for PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have the chance to play through it in its entirety on the very day of its release, October 23.
Bounty Star is just the latest day one game confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass October 2025 lineup. The new Xbox Game Pass games for October 2025 are looking ridiculously stacked, with Ball x Pit coming on October 15, Double Fine's Keeper set for October 17, Ninja Gaiden 4 launching October 21, the aforementioned Bounty Star coming October 23 alongside the PC-only Moonlighter 2, and finally, The Outer Worlds 2 releasing October 29. It's likely that there will be even more games added to Xbox Game Pass in October 2025, but the full lineup has yet to be announced.
As far as Xbox Game Pass games coming after Bounty Star, we know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is joining the service on November 14. We also know that fans can expect the Fable reboot, Gears of War: E-Day, a new Forza Horizon game, and a new Halo game in 2026.
