V Rising is the perfect blend of horror and survival as players roam the dark forests as a vampire. They rise to the top fighting against bosses, the environment, and each other. The combat is a mixture of spells and melee, and the stronger players get, as do their foes.

The 1.1 Invaders of Oakveil update introduced a lot of new content, including bosses, blood types, fighting systems, and consumables. Consumables consist of potions, weapon boosters, and Elixirs that assist players as they struggle for power. Elixirs are powerful consumables with many effects, so we've compiled a complete guide to Elixirs in V Rising, including how to get them, all their effects, and tips for using them.

Here's a checklist of all the bosses that were added in V Rising's big Invaders of Oakveil Update.

What are Elixirs in V Rising

V Rising What are Elixirs

Elixirs are potions that players drink to boost their vampire builds temporarily. All Elixirs are associated with a secondary stat and last for sixty minutes. Elixirs can boost speed, maximum health, spell power, and more.

Only one Elixir can be active at a time.

There are eight Elixirs based on the V Blood Carrier who holds the recipe in V Rising. Elixirs persist even through death, so players won't lose their effects if they run into trouble or are caught out in the sun.

How to Get Elixirs in V Rising

Elixirs are consumables, so players need the Alchemy Table to brew them. The Alchemy Table blueprint is unlocked when Clive the Firestarter, a level 30 V Blood Carrier, is defeated. V Blood Carriers can be found by tracking their scent, and once players locate and beat them, they earn rewards. Clive's rewards include:

  • Tier 1 Spell Point
  • Alchemy Table
  • Minor Explosive Box
V Rising Elixir of the Twisted

Players will also need to unlock Elixir recipes. Elixir recipes are unlocked by defeating V Blood Carriers. Their ingredients include common resources throughout the land, like Blood Roses and Hell's Clarion.
