Hats in V Rising are purely cosmetic armor pieces that do not provide any additional benefits such as gear level or stats. Still, you can unlock many cool hats to add flavor to your vampire's appearance, making them look unique.

You can find headgear by fishing, via vendors, and by looting from golden chests. However, this is a vague description of how to find them, so we'll cover it in greater detail so you know how to find specific hats. Here's how to find all helmets, headgear, and hats in V Rising so you can travel around Vardoran in style while farming Spectral Dust.

How to Get Hats in V Rising Using Console Commands

Using Console Commands to Get Headwear in V Rising

If you want to get a specific hat but don't want to use the above methods, you can use console commands to get them instead. Here is how to use console commands in V Rising to get hats:

  2. Go to the General tab
  3. Check the Console Enabled tab
  4. Open the console with the ` (Tilde) key
  5. Type the adminauth command to become a super user
  6. Type giveset hats to add hats to your inventory

You will find the following hats in your inventory after using the console command:

  • Ashfolk Crown
  • Ashfolk Helmet
  • Bear Head
  • Bonnet
  • Deer Head
  • Footman's Hat
  • Knight's Helmet
  • Maid's Cap
  • Maid's Scarf
  • Militia Helmet

  • Necromancer's Mitre
  • Paladin's Helmet

Hats obtained using console commands in V Rising are still not blood-bound, so if you do lose one, you'll have to add it back to your inventory using the above command again. However, that command will add every single add to your inventory again, leading to duplicates.
