Sacred Grapes is one of the new types of resources added to V Rising following the game's successful graduation from early access. These are mid-late-game materials that many level 70+ players will need to gather if they want to make efficient progress through the rest of Vardoran.

While getting Sacred Grapes isn't particularly hard, there are a few things to know about it. It's likely to be a highly-contested resource in the full release version of V Rising, so you'll need to act fast if you want to get your hands on some. Here's exactly where you need to go in order to get some.

Where To Get Sacred Grapes in V Rising

As of writing, the only place where players can get Sacred Grapes is the Brighthaven Vineyard in Silverlight Hills, the same biome where you can get Silver in V Rising. This area is right outside the main town of Brighthaven, and it's densely populated by workers, foot soldiers, and elite fighters like Knights and Clerics. Occasionally, Harpies will occasionally swoop down into the vineyards as well, posing as a random threat that players should always be aware of.

In so far as harvesting Sacred Grapes is concerned, all players need to do is hit them with any weapon. Swords are great if you want to grab as many grapes as you can since as quickly as possible thanks to its Whirlwind ability. If you don't have a sword, expect the harvesting process to take a bit longer than usual. As such, be prepared to fight, as you may find yourself overwhelmed by Brighthaven's defenders if you stay in the vineyard for too long.

Planting Sacred Grapes in V Rising

Like many other plants, you can grow some Sacred Grapes of your own by making a garden in V Rising. You can randomly get Sacred Grape seeds when you harvest them in the vineyards. Alternatively, merchants inside Brighthaven might have Sacred Grape seeds for sale. Make sure you have a human disguise and are packing enough Silver resistance so Goldsun Coins don't cause Silver Sickness.

Sacred Grapes are used for two important recipes: Holy Resistance Flasks and Blood Merlot. The former is crucial for surviving against holy warriors, while the latter is used for extracting blood without inflicting too much damage or misery onto your prisoners.

Making Blood Merlot in V Rising is much more economical than simply using normal Blood Potions. You'll have to first beat Baron du Bouchon inside the main building of the Brighthaven Vineyards in order to get the Blood Merlot recipe.
