Having awakened from a centuries-long sleep in the V Rising world, your vampire must collect many materials to improve their equipment and abilities. One of the late-game materials is Wool Thread, a durable and elegant improved version of Coarse Thread that is superior to this material in all respects. Wool Thread is essential in the late game for crafting clothing, armor, and even some complex craft materials. Luckily, it is pretty easy to get.
Being a vampire and an enemy of ordinary people, you can, with a clear conscience, steal Wool Thread from the weaving settlement. Or you can take the recipe from the boss and craft these threads yourself. Here are all the ways you can get Wool Thread in V Rising.

Here's where to find Sacred Grapes, the key ingredient for two important consumables in V Rising.
Where to Find Wool Thread in V Rising
The easiest way to get Wool Thread in V Rising is to go to the Dunley Farmlands region and search for the locals' supplies. By going out and searching the locals and guards in the southern and eastern parts of the area, you will quickly accumulate a good amount of this material. But also don’t forget to take the contents of chests that contain even more Wool Thread.
If you want to avoid violence or seek alternative sources of Wool Thread for other reasons, you can create this material yourself. You must go south of Dunley Farmlands and explore the Haunted Iron Mine to do this. Here, you will meet Meredith the Bright Archer, a level 52 boss known for her accurate and deadly bow shots, and a couple of minions who travel with her.
First, you should defeat the minions so that they do not interfere with the battle, and then start hitting the boss. Note that Meredith's arrows can kill you in 2–3 hits, so keep your distance and constantly dodge to win. Once you defeat her, you will receive the Wool Thread recipe, which requires the following ingredients:
- 12 Fire Bloom, which can be collected from Dunley Farmlands and Farbane Woods.
- Eight Coarse Threads, which can be found in the Dunley Farmlands and Farbane Woods area or crafted on Loom
