In order to evolve this Tides of the Foscari weapon, players must simply open a chest after obtaining a Level 8 Eskizzibur and Level 5 Armor. Notably, Armor is one of the stage items that can be obtained in Lake Foscari and Abyss Foscari, making it very easy to evolve Eskizzibur in those DLC stages. That said, players can always select Armor as they level up during a run, allowing them to perform the evolution on any stage.
With respect to the functionality of Eskizzibur's evolution, Legionnaire, it generates additional projectiles that deal retaliatory damage. These projectiles take the form or replicas of the character that is using the weapon, and they travel in the direction of the character's last movement.
For players that want to make the most of those projectiles, retaliatory damage is connected to the Armor stat. As such, fans may want to use Legionnaire with characters that have bonus Armor, such as Mortacio, Leda, or even Legacy of the Moonspell's Syuuto, and they should consider using the Divine Bloodline (IX) Arcana alongside it.
Players can also improve Legionnaire's projectiles with items that increase Amount, Duration, and Speed.
