The gaming industry has seen a lot of games set in feudal Japan, especially since Ghost of Tsushima was released in 2020. Now, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be releasing this year and a few of the mechanics in the game are similar to Ghost of Tsushima's, specifically the full-year cycle and the inclusion of all four seasons in the game. However, Ubisoft's execution of these mechanics may differ from Ghost of Tsushima's.
