Despite a divisive open world and small microtransaction controversy, Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 from early 2024 has found great success. Largely laid by its rabid following that praised the original title and its Dark Arisen expansion for well over a decade, Dragon’s Dogma 2 was able to bring in new fans and set the franchise up for a strong future.
