The Best War Games recently had the chance to sit down with Virtua Fighter producer Seiji Aoki to discuss the exciting changes in Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.

As reported by Gematsu, during Sunday's Virtua Fighter Direct presentation, Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio officially revealed that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Will be hitting home consoles. Virtua Fighter producer Seiji Aoki revealed that R.E.V.O. Will be brought to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and the Nintendo Switch 2 in the near future. Aoki also confirmed that the developer will be adding cross-play support alongside the new versions, featuring the same rollback netcode used within the Steam version. A release date was not confirmed for the home console release.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Is Coming to Home Consoles

The new version of Virtua Fighter 5 will mark a major return to the home console market for the legendary fighting game franchise.
