The Behind the Scenery side quests in Visions of Mana are a series of picture puzzles that task the players with finding a specific spot in the game using a painting as a reference.

Traveler Fiona is the quest giver for all these quests and appears in multiple locations throughout the journey. Behind the Scenery 2, the second in this quest chain, starts in Rhata Harbor, just before the Soul Guard Val and his Alm companions head off to the next continent. Here is how to solve it.

Behind the Scenery 2 can only be started after Behind the Scenery 1 is completed. If you can’t find Traveler Fiona in Rhata Harbor, this is why.

Behind the Scenery 2 Puzzle Solution

After talking to Fiona, head back out to the Fallow Steppe, the wide-open map you traveled through to get to Rhata Harbor. Activate the quest from the Side Quest journal and open the map. You’ll be able to see a black flag icon pointing to a cliff on the western edge. Like the first Behind the Scenery quest, there are two ways to get to this location.

From the Meridian

Fast Travel to the Meridian in the middle of the map and head south. Stay on the road and turn west when it forks. Circle around the impassable terrain and find the narrow path heading north. The road will lead to the top of a cliff that ends at a sharp point, where you will find a chest. Look over the edge, and you’ll find the scenery in the picture Fiona shared just ahead.

The viewing spot we’re looking for is actually not at this edge. Turn back, and you will find a small overhang right next to a stone structure. Climb it and walk slowly to make the prompt ‘Admire the View’ appear. Interact with it to summon Fiona and complete the quest.

From Rime Falls

Alternatively, you can opt to start from the Rime Falls entrance at the southern edge of the wall and head north while hugging the left side. The distance is longer but more straightforward than the other options. Just remember to ride the Pikul to make the trek as short as possible.

Reward

After the Behind the Scenery 2 is complete in Visions of Mana, Fiona will reward Val with 20x Gold Clover, the currency used to upgrade the Elemental Plot to acquire new abilities and skills for every new class.
