The journey will be dangerous, and you will need to utilize every resource you come across if you wish to survive and see this journey through to its completion.
As you set sail, you will come across all manner of islands on your journey as you travel across three highly diverse biomes: the Embrace, the Reef, and the Greatwood. Everywhere you go, there will be beautiful sights to behold and no shortage of dangers that lurk around every corner. To handle these threats, you will need to build bases and craft weapons to take on the horrific monsters that await you. You aren't just limited to the surface, either. Below the waves, you will find all manner of treasure and resources, but there are plenty of monsters lurking below. No matter where you go, you will need to have your wits about you.
If you persevere and locate the endangered spirits within each biome, you will gain valuable knowledge, like new crafting recipes that will aid you on your journey. These wise spirits can even grant you abilities as well. Some abilities are especially game-changing. For example, the ability granted by the Spirit of the Ocean will allow you to breathe water and glide across the waves for a short time.
As you aid the spirits, you will also need to build bases on the islands you explore. Voyagers of Nera includes an impressive and versatile base-building system that will allow you to build a village where you can craft gear and valuable resources that will aid you in your quest to find the spirits of this vast and beautiful world. In addition to that, these villages protect the spirits, and by helping them and giving them a home, they will help you in turn.
Voyagers of Nera has been balanced so that it can be enjoyed by solo players, but it also scales well with large groups. You can have up to 10 players on a server, and there is always something for players to do, no matter what their preferred play style is. You can host your own server for free, or you can rent one if you don't feel like going through the process of setting one up. Early access for Voyagers of Nera is packed with content.
