The Switch 2 will debut with Mario Kart World as its flagship launch game, while the console is introducing new features like voice and video chat. Now, the Switch 2 is starting to show up in some stores' online listings.

Nintendo and its third-party partners have already shown off a plethora of exciting games set to arrive to the Switch 2 on launch. Aside from the previously-mentioned Mario Kart World, multiple ports of popular games like Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and Street Fighter 6 will be debuting on launch day. A post shared to the Switch 2 subreddit reveals that some Walmart stores are already beginning to show their counts for the console online. The Walmart featured in Reddit user Inner_Pizza3128's post shows a staggering 125 units in stock of the Switch 2's Mario Kart World bundle, said to be the closest store to Walmart's home office. While the stock numbers can only be viewed by Walmart employees, the console is expected to ship out throughout the week to Walmart stores in preparation for the Switch 2's June 5 launch.

The early stock of Switch 2 consoles comes as many fans have questioned how easy the Switch 2 will be to find. Early reports are indicating that Nintendo may be having difficulties meeting the demand for Switch 2 consoles in Japan, with polls suggesting that many fans were unable to secure pre-orders. Walmart itself was also involved in a recent Switch 2 controversy, with some customers claiming that their pre-orders had been mysteriously canceled. Walmart has not made an official statement on the canceled pre-orders, though their technical team is reportedly working to resolve the issue.
