Digital Extremes is enjoying its 10th TennoCon, a celebration of all things Warframe — and now Soulframe, as well. Naturally, this milestone year was packed with major announcements for both titles. Soulframe reported significant progress in the last year and opened its doors to the public for the weekend of TennoCon. Meanwhile, Digital Extremes has plenty of announcements on the Warframe front.

Alongside general Warframe news, Digital Extremes has also announced a generous donation of $100,000 to the Make-A-Wish foundation and the construction of two homes for families in need in the studio's native country, Canada.

TennoCon 2025 Warframe Reveals

Warframe Has Big Plans for Fall

On July 21, Valkyr will be the next Warframe to receive an heirloom cosmetic set, and Digital Extremes announced that there will be a standalone Warframe tabletop adventure in partnership with the Starfinder roleplaying game.

Digital Extremes also announced an as-yet-named 2025 fall update, where Lavos Deluxe will arrive. This update will also bring an Oberon rework, hot on the heels of the recent Valkyr rework. Another welcome announcement has been long in the waiting: finally, Warframe is introducing a quest that teaches modding, aptly named 'The Teacher.' As crucial as modding is to success in Warframe, this should be a major boon to new players overwhelmed by the complexities of modding.

A Warframe clip showed somber cinematic footage depicting numerous defeated Warframes lying on the ground, indicating that something quite bad has happened, and players will find out toward the end of the year. This will see the introduction of new characters, nicknamed ' The Devil's Triad,' which carry a distinctly Catholic theme. More about them will be revealed in an October stream.

Additionally, Warframe will be coming to Android devices with a closed beta on the horizon.

Warframe's New Quest, The Old Peace

A new Warframe quest is coming, entitled 'The Old Peace,' which takes place on a new location: the barren moon, Tau. This reveal showed footage of players controlling Excalibur Prime, a now-unobtainable founder-exclusive Warframe, sneaking through trenches to avoid a massive Sentient enemy and facing off in a cinematic boss fight, where Excalibur Prime is shown grappling around the boss to avoid attacks and strike weak points. This turns out to be a game amongst friends, which cuts to the Operator submerged underwater, accompanied by Loid, as the Operator appears to be observing another timeline of sorts. This scene also highlights the Operator remaster that brings a much-needed visual update to the player's appearance.

In The Old Peace, Sentients and Tenno are mysteriously at peace on Tau under a treaty. While visiting these 'Tuaron' amongst non-hostile Grineer guards, the Tenno stumbles upon the next Prime Warframe: Caliban Prime. An attack ensues, and the treaty is broken, leading to the outbreak of a new conflict.
