What are the Hard Objectives in Ready or Not

Hard objectives are the daily or must-to-do tasks players get. These missions are always displayed on the tablet. Unlike the name, these missions aren’t demanding compared to the soft objectives.

They tend to be more straightforward and transparent, allowing players to think profoundly and strategize each move. Missions like finding civilians or arresting suspects are often classified as hard objectives. Players can know if they’ve completed all their Hard objectives when they see a prompt saying “Mission Soft Complete” appear in the top-left corner of the screen.

Unlike the name, these missions aren’t soft for players at all and are the complete opposite of Hard objectives. They make the game much more interesting by adding a layer of complexity to it. Players cannot see these objectives on the tablet.

These objectives can be spotted by heading to Sherlock Holmes of SWAT. Players can see them while completing missions. Furthermore, players cannot know if they’ve completed their Soft objectives.

Missions like finding unique NPCs or collecting additional information regarding the preliminary mission fall under the category of Soft Objectives. Since they’re more challenging to find and complete, players also earn sweet bonus points for completing them. These missions can help players climb the rank ladder quickly and achieve the prestigious S rank.

Despite the complexities, these objectives are a lot of fun for players. They reveal further information regarding the lore. This helps players better understand the mission standing and the background. It may also introduce some twists that require players to report.

Completing Soft Objectives isn't mandatory, but it influences the overall ranking players receive upon completing missions. These objectives can be spotted by paying close attention to items or NPCs marked with a magnifying glass icon.
