Killing enemies will usually give players various gear items to refine their build with various bonuses outside of just a straight damage boost in Titan Quest 2. The color of items that drop shows their rarity, though dark purple items are actually quest items and not legendary items.

Quest items usually are part of a puzzle, be it figuring out who to take it to or using it as a key to open something specific, like the Mysterious Door. The Betrothal Rings are found while exploring the Western Flooded Farmland, and you'll need to find the lucky (or unlucky) couple they belong to.

Where to Take the Betrothal Rings in Titan Quest 2

The Betrothed Couple's Location on the Map

These items aren't tied to a side quest that can be tracked, and nothing will appear on your map.

The only real hint you're given with this quest item is that the cooper rings are crusted with sea salt, letting you know you need to head west in this region to reach the sea, the opposite direction of the Caduceus. The exact area you're looking for is Raider's Landing, which is found just to the south of the temple you're looking for in the main quest, "The Search for the Sea-God".

The Player Giving the Betrothed Rings

Raider's Landing is mostly docks, but there is one large rock formation you can climb that overlooks the docks below, with two ghostly figures standing on top of it. Speak to Phylia, the ghost on the left, and offer up the Betrothal Rings to finally give them peace and let them move on, also giving you a reward. There is also a chest down on the docks that will drop a rare item if you open it, though this is not tied to the quest.

Rewards for Giving the Betrothal Rings in Titan Quest 2

The Rewards from the Betrothed Rings Quest

There is no other use for these rings aside from giving them to the rightful owners, so completing this quest as stated above is your only option. Doing so will give you the following:

  • 5,609 XP
  • 10 Embers of Night

Getting any number of Embers of Night will start the Embers of Night side quest, which is completed by taking them to the person in Pyrgos who is marked on your map. Embers of Night are a collectible, and you'll be getting a lot of them throughout the region, so feel free to build up a lot before turning them in, as you don't get a reward for every single one you give.
