Fortnite: Creator Made Island Explained
If you've played Fortnite before, you may have tried playing not only Epic Games' official game modes like Battle Royale, Rocket Racing, or Lego Fortnite but also other community-created ones. There are a whole bunch of them, but even experienced gamers might not know that they are also called Creator Made Islands.
Creator Made Island are maps and modes that were created by the community, meaning other players. If you have never played such modes or maps before, be sure to try it because sometimes it is even more interesting and exciting than the usual Battle Royale.
Compared to the official game modes, there are many more creative ones created by ordinary players. You don't need to do anything special to play one of them. You can choose the desired mode and launch it directly in the lobby. Creator Made Islands, along with the official game modes, will be displayed in the Fortnite Discovery tab, which you can access by scrolling down while in the lobby.
