There are several items in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers that either provide you with buffs or act as a currency that can be used to purchase items or level up at any Shrine. One of these exchangeable items is the Bamboo Shoots, which players will come across quite often throughout the game.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers: Madness (Inner Demon) Explained
Madness lets players deal and receive increased damage in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, here's how it works and how to remove it.
Players can turn in the items to an ancient being located inside the forest, who offers a variety of items that you might want to have in your inventory. Here is everything you need to know about Bamboo Shoots in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Where to Find Bamboo Shoots in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Bamboo Shoots in the game are quite rare to come by, but you can find a Bamboo enemy that is non-hostile and starts running as soon as it spots you approaching. If you don’t manage to kill it within the next few seconds, it will burrow into the ground and disappear from the area. While this might seem alarming, it isn’t—simply head back to a Worship's Rise Shrine to reset enemy locations, which will cause the Bamboo to respawn at its original spot.
With the Bamboo now back in place, you can run up to it and attack quickly to make it drop a Bamboo Shoot. Additionally, you can obtain one Bamboo Shoot by speaking to the NPC located inside the cave where the Panda can be found.
Where to Find Panda in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
To reach the Panda's location, you must go to the Narrow Stretch, which is located right after you use the Lightzen Key to open the door and proceed further into the main area. When you arrive at the split where the NPC gives you the Bone Whistle, head right and keep going straight until you spot a Bamboo enemy up ahead. Kill it and look to your left to find a cave that you can enter. You will know you are at the right place when you can hear an NPC talking even from outside the cave.
Head inside and talk to the NPC for a free Bamboo Shoot, then go up the small stairs to find a Panda lying down. Talking to it gives you the option to purchase:
- Steampowered Spear (Weapon that costs 1 Bamboo Shoot)
- Divine Ward (Spell that costs 3 Bamboo Shoots)
More items keep appearing in the Panda's shop as you progress through the game and continue collecting Bamboo Shoots for it.
