Elden Ring Nightreign has a lot of rougelike elements that change up every run to keep each one feeling different, no matter which expedition you choose. One of the biggest things that can change between runs is a Shifting Earth event, which can completely change a large section of the map.

After beating the first expedition, players will unlock the first Shifting Earth event, and as you complete more expeditions, you'll unlock all four of the Shifting Earth events. Shifting Earth events can be very challenging, and if you have a set run path, it may mess up your plans. The bed can be used to end a Shifting Earth event before you start an expedition; here's where to find it.

Getting Runes to level up is one of the most important ways you can get ready for a boss in Elden Ring Nightreign; here are the best places to farm.

Where To Find The Bed In Elden Ring Nightreign

The bed can only be interacted with whenever you have a Shifting Earth event active, which can be seen whenever you interact with the Roundtable and look to the right side of the list of expeditions. If you want that Shifting Earth event to end, head down the hallway on the right side of the Roundtable Hold, right next to the character change bell.

Run past the Remembrance Journal to your right and through the following room to the back room. Along the right side of the wall will be two beds, with you being able to interact with the further one as long as you have a Shifting Earth event currently active. Interacting with the bed will pass time and end the Shifting Earth event.

While it mentions passing time, there is no overall, "time" mechanic to worry about, this is purely used to end a Shifting Earth event.

The bed can't be used to activate Shifting Earth events, as their activations are usually completely random. There is no way to directly trigger these events, so ending one may leave you without one for a few expeditions. The only way you can trigger Shifting Earth events is by selecting a character whose Remembrance quest line requires a specific Shifting Earth event, and playing as that character, though progressing the quest line will forever lock you out of this method.
