After leaving the sewers, players can acquire the 
Chameleon Spell fairly early, but it comes with a catch. The spell requires a minimum level for the Illusion skill, meaning players must increase their attribute beforehand. Additionally, like all spells, casting the Chameleon Spell consumes Magicka, so you'll need to manage it wisely to avoid running out in crucial moments. Where to Buy Chameleon Spell In Oblivion Remastered
To buy the Chameleon Spell early on in the game, players must make their way to Bravil, southeast of the Imperial City. Upon arriving at the city, you can talk to any soldier roaming around for directions to the Mage's Guild, which is located towards the south side of the city, near the docks. Do keep in mind that the merchant inside the Mage's Guild will be sleeping if you arrive during the night, so it is better to wait until the morning when they wake up. If you haven't already joined the Mage's Guild, then this is the perfect time, as you can talk to Kud-Ei and enroll without having to do anything. If you want to further increase your standing with the guild, though, you will have to complete a recommendation quest.
Inside the Guild's faction, you can also find Ita Rienus, who sells a bunch of Illusion spells, one of which is the Chameleon Spell for 561 Gold. This is the only early-game location to get the spell; otherwise, you will have to complete all the recommendation quests in the seven cities to unlock the Arcane University, where you can create custom Chameleon spells upon unlocking it.
You can haggle to reduce the price of the items in her inventory, but be sure to increase her disposition before doing so.
What Does Chameleon Spell Do In Oblivion Remastered?
The Chameleon Spell is one of the most powerful spells later on in the game when you maximize its efficiency, making the effect reach 100%. The Chameleon Spell provided by Ita Rienus only gives a 25% effect, meaning you are partially invisible to the enemy during the entire duration. As you might have guessed already, at 100%, you are completely invisible to all enemies and can take out everyone with ease.
It is important to note that this spell is not the same as Shadow. This is because Shadow breaks if you cast a spell, attack, or even interact with something. However, it does give 100% invisibility from the start, so it evens out in a way. Your main reason for using Shadow would be to get out of fights and risky situations, while Chameleon makes you an invisible threat. As you progress in the game, you can stack the invisibility, getting closer to the 100% mark.
