Players will experience a range of NPC questlines when traveling throughout the different regions in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. One of the NPCs you meet early on is an old lady named Qiao Ying, who mistook Wuchang for her son. During the conversation with her, she'll eventually ask you to retrieve the White Jade Dumpling, a special item that can cure her ailments. However, retrieving the dumpling isn't as easy as you'll need to find a boss called Hongliu to get it.

Where to Find Qiao Ying

Players will meet Qiao Ying on the second floor of Shu Sanctum in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. She'll be sitting in front of the statue of God Shu and will stand up to speak to Wuchang once she gets close. If players got the Peachwood Amulet from her son in the Revenant Temple, they can give it to her to start her questline.

She'll mistake Wuchang for her son and tell her about the monster Lu Hongliu. As she explains the origins of this creature, Qiao Ying will also request Wuchang to retrieve the White Jade Dumpling from her, which seemingly cures all ailments. So, the next course of action for players will be to find and beat the Lu Hongliu boss.

How to Get the White Jade Dumpling in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Players can quickly reach the boss if they've unlocked the shortcut by knocking down the tree that connects the mountain path to the second floor of the Shu Sanctum. If not, here's how to find Lu Hongliu in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

  1. Head downstairs and turn right, exit the main building of the Shu Sanctum to arrive at a row of houses with a ladder to the right.
  2. Climb up to the roof of the houses and cross over to the other side. There will be some enemies here, so you can either ignore them or clear them as you move forward.
  3. Keep progressing forward till you encounter a troll enemy. From here, descend further down and take the path that's going up an incline.
  4. You'll spot a golden gate at the right with an enemy with a firearm and two dogs ready to pounce Wuchang. Take care of them and follow this path until you reach Worship's Rise.
  5. Head through the row of houses and step out just for a second before retreating inside to let the boulder pass by.
  6. After taking care of the troll enemy ahead, there's a wooden plank on the right that you can use to get on top of the roof and then take the ladder to higher ground.
  7. Go along the rooftops and clear enemies along the way before reaching the main courtyard. Descend the stairs, and you'll encounter the Fire Dancer enemy ahead.
  8. After dealing with the fire dancer, you'll spot two paths on the left: one leading to a wooden bridge, and another inside a row of houses. Follow the latter until you spot a large stairway leading up to a door. Opening the door will begin the boss encounter with Gluttonous Monstrosity - Lu Hongliu.

The boss battle with Lu Hongliu can be a bit challenging, as she's quick on all fours and can close the gap almost instantly to strike with her claws. It's recommended to keep close to her and perform dodges to her side to get an opening for attacks.

Once you've successfully defeated Lu Hongliu, return to Qiao Ying at the Shu Sanctum, and you'll have the option to hand over the White Jade Dumpling to her. As she receives the Dumpling, her memory will become better, and she'll realize that Wuchang's not her son. Qiao Ying will also reward Wuchang with a Faint Red Feather and three Divination Crescents. This will mark Qiao Ying's quest for the first area as completed in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
