What Does Elegance Do in Where Winds Meet?

Attributes are essential to unlock Exploration Skills and improve the characters' abilities in Where Winds Meet, and Elegance is one of the hardest Attributes to level up.

How To Increase Elegance Attribute in Where Winds Meet

Increasing Elegance Points in Where Winds Meet can be done by either completing the Kitty Lover feat or the Gourmet Challenge. These two activities can be a little bit tricky to spot, but the gist of it is exploration and paying attention to the map.

Players will need to explore a lot searching for Cats to pet, and Food Stall vendors where they can try local delicacies in order to increase their Elegance.

Cats are the easiest to spot, since their meowing can be heard quite loudly, and players can also visit the Meow Meow Temples in both Kaifeng and Qhinge to score a few easy Elegance points. Still, there's also a better way to spot them, and that is to pay attention to other players' messages left with the Signposts. These will often lead to discover new kitties that the players can pet.

To pet cats, simply approach and press 'E,' and select 'Pet the Cat' dialogue option. Make sure not to press the Spacebar and skip the cutscene, or the Elegance Point collection will not count.

Food Stalls are scattered around every region in the world of WWM, and players need to spend Commerce Coins to buy food from them. Still, each bowl of food purchased counts as an Elegance Point attribute increase, so it's worth the investment. Players can find Food Stalls in the following spots:

Once players have collected all Food Delicacies from each region, they will unlock the Gourmet Rewards, and also receive Elegance Attribute Points, as well as lots of Exploration points for that region.

What Does Elegance Do in Where Winds Meet?

Elegance is an Aspiration Attribute that governs Exploration Skills related to Charisma. For example, Disguising as NPCs, Credibility, Gift of Garb bonus passives, Persuasion Tactics, Conviction (demanding items from NPCs), and so on.

Increasing Elegance will unlock more passives that will benefit exploration by granting players more chances to succeed at some of the mentioned attempts. When conversing with NPCs using the AI chat, Elegance also helps players convince and befriend them.

The more Elegance a player has, the easier it will be for them to triumph at social skills, and the easier to get away with unreasonable demands like making NPCs surrender information or precious items.
