The Resident Evil series isn't just known for the jump scares and horror-survival gameplay elements. It is also known for the incredible main characters in each game. Some of these characters are maybe a little more popular than the others, but they've all been essential to the franchise and its story.

Each one of these characters has their own persona and goals; this makes every turn in the story unpredictable. On top, many of these characters can be seen as great idols by fans of the series. But as good as idols they are, can they be great soul mates? Let's find out.

12 Sherry Birkin (Aries)

Sherry Birkin is a US government agent and was born in 1986. Even though her character is often overshadowed by Jake's, she still manages to leave an impact on the series.  Personality-wise, Sherry is the kind of person who wants to do her job in the best way possible. She is also pretty emotional and smart, always trying to find out more about any subject she deems necessary. She also has a sweet spot for Leon because he saved her life back in Racoon City. Since most Aries are motivated, cheerful, and determined, Sherry would be a perfect partner to share similar interests.

Everybody who has played Resident Evil games knows about Ada Wong. Born in 1974, Ada is a Chinese-American spy, whose skills are unmatched by any other character in the series. Throughout the story of Resident Evil, Ada is shown as a quiet and deadly type of character.

Personality-wise, she is incredibly smart and quick, and at times has outsmarted many other Resident Evil  characters. Her hand to hand combat and weapon aim is pretty good as well. Taurus are known for their traits such as beauty, artistry, and gratifying, which pretty much describes Ada.

10 Claire Redfield (Gemini)

Claire Redfield is one of the most popular Resident Evil characters of all time. Her first appearance was in the original Resident Evil 2 video game. She is the younger sister of Chris Redfield, who is the protagonist of OG Resident Evil. As such, some of her traits are similar to her brother. She is incredibly brave and has a good understanding of weapons. She's also a master lockpick and is known to have had many boyfriends in the past. Since most Gemini can be described as curious, affectionate, and kind, they would fit right in with Claire giving her the love she needed in her childhood.

Leon Scott Kennedy is probably the most significant Resident Evil character ever. The man debuted in Resident Evil 2 and has since become the unofficial mascot of the series. Most players will remember Leon to be a quick-witted, serious, bold, and extremely tactical individual. Not many people can survive in an isolated village full of infected enemies, fight horrible monsters, and save the President's daughter without much backup. The fact that Leon was chosen to rescue the president's daughter is a direct remark to his loyalty, something that Cancers are known for and will appreciate the same trait in their partner.

First debuting in Resident Evil 7, Ethan is the newest member of the Resident Evil franchise. He is the protagonist of the seventh installment and a unique character. Ethan can be categorized as bold, fearless, and emotional. He has the best character growth within one game than any other character in the series, going from a confused man trying to find his wife to a courageous monster killing machine. Leos are driven, passionate, and protective individuals, these traits will fit right in with Ethan's ideals.

7 Jill Valentine (Virgo)

Jill Valentine is another OG Resident Evil  character who debuted in the first game. She is an American special operations agent and an extremely skillful character. Jill is also the protagonist of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, one of the best original RE titles.

Jill is also responsible for killing one of the most vicious monsters in the resident evil franchise, Nemesis. Personality-wise, she is smart and a bit of a thinker. 6 Chris Redfield (Libra)

Chris Redfield is the other protagonist of the original Resident Evil game. He has built his career in demolishing bioweapons and killing one of the biggest RE villains, Albert Wesker. Chris is a significant and bulky dude who is extremely good at hand to hand combat and using guns. But even with his size, he can move fast and think fast, an ability that has saved him in countless situations. Personality-wise, he is short-tempered and emotionally driven. Libras are a perfect match for Chris because of their traits such as an outgoing nature, a sense of justice, and great intentions. And since Chris is usually traveling different places, Libras will love all the travel.

Piers Nivans is a deceased Resident Evil character who debuted in the manga series titled Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire.  In the video games, he was first seen in Resident Evil 6 as the partner of Chris Redfield and had a significant role in saving his life a lot of times. The man can be described as a faster version of Chris, with similar combat abilities and immovable mission focus.  Since Scorpios are known to be loyal, fearless, and strategic they will enjoy the company of someone who believes in the same concepts.

4 Rebecca Chambers (Sagittarius)

Dr. Rebecca Chambers is a 40 years old biotechnology professor. She is another one of the original Resident Evil characters and is an American child prodigy whose mental abilities are unmatched to many other Resident Evil characters. Rebecca has a cute and sweet personality, which often makes people think she is naïve. However, she is way smarter than she looks. After all, she's a doctor. Rebecca fits the Sagittarius type because of common traits such as honesty and above-average intellect.

3 Sheva Alomar (Capricorn)

Born in West Africa in 1986, Sheva Alomar made her first appearance in Resident Evil 5. As the series deep-dived into the focus on co-op, Sheva's first game saw her as a playable badass character. She is a BSAA SOA operative who is highly skilled with a variety of firearms and explosives. She's also one of the characters who've survived battling Albert Wesker, a man who is probably one of the most significant villains in the whole franchise. Capricorns are known to be practical, self-reliant, and ambitious, which basically defines Sheva's character, making her a perfect fit.
