Wicked: For Good wisely launched on Friday, giving it a three-day weekend to attract as many viewers as possible. So far, Disney's charming comedy thriller has skipped the $160 million mark domestically, a return helped by the film debuting right at the start of the Thanksgiving weekend. Currently, Zootopia 2 is box office gold and should keep on getting a respectable return at the box office. However, as it is also on the decline, Judy and Nick seem unlikely to bring in another $100 million domestically.
That said, Zootopia 2 could have a longer life than expected at the cinema, especially with the holiday season in full swing.

While it is, ultimately, too early to call it, Wicked: For Good needs to find a second wind to catch up to its predecessor. The sequel had a bigger opening day than the first movie, but that can be primarily credited to the latter's beloved status. Wicked's brilliance ensured people were extremely excited to see the second half of Elphaba and Glinda's story, but Wicked: For Good's middling reception has likely diminished its staying power.
