There are a total of eight Pokemon to be found in Wild Zone 7 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, if you include the Alpha, which does not count towards the 100% completion rate. Like the other Wild Zones in PLZA, some of these are tricky to catch.
This guide covers the location of all Pokemon found in Wild Zone 7 and what players need to do in order to catch all of them easily. Here’s the breakdown.
Wild Zone 7 unlocks after players complete Main Mission 09: Chase that Mysterious Pokemon and obtain the Mega Ring after fighting Rogue Mega Absol.

Hippopotas Location
- Time: Day/Night
Hippopotas spawns near the central monument in Wild Zone 7. Four or five Hippopotas spawn at the same time, and all of them are aggressive, which means they’ll swarm you given half a chance. Bring a good Water-type or Grass-type Pokemon to avoid getting overwhelmed. Hippopotas evolves to
Hippowdon at level 34.
Vanillite Location
- Time: Day/Night
All Vanillite spawn points are all located near the ice cream trucks parked on the sidewalk circling the central area in Wild Zone 7. Vanillite evolves to
Vanillish at level 35 and then into
Vanilluxe at level 47.
Kakuna Location
- Time: Day/Night
Kakuna are only found nesting on the side of the trees planted on the edges of the circular boundary of Wild Zone 7. They are attached to the side of tree trunks and are non-aggressive. Kakuna evolves into
Beedrill at level 10, which means you’ll be able to evolve them as soon as you catch one.
Floette Location
- Time: Day/Night
Floette can be found floating among the bushes near the sides of the courtyard. They can evolve into
Florges by using a Shiny Stone.
Only a Red Flower Floette and an Orange Flower Floette can spawn in Wild Zone 7.
Roselia Location
- Time: Day/Night
A single Roselia can be found on the far end of the courtyard in Wild Zone 7, near the sidewalk. Roselia can evolve into
Roserade using a Shiny Stone.
Audino Location
- Time: Day/Night
Audino spawns in the middle of Wild Zone 7, to the left of the central monument. It’s important to note that Audino is a skittish Pokemon and will run away if you do not catch it instantly. If the Audino runs away, the game will treat it as if you defeated it, and it will not respawn for some time.
The best way to catch the Audino is to sneak up behind it and hit it with a powerful Fighting-type move to take it out in one hit. You can also use a Quick Ball to achieve the same effect.
Shuppet Location
- Time: Night
Shuppet can be found in the main courtyard, floating around the Wild Zone at night. Shuppet evolves into
Banette at level 37.
There is a bench just outside the Pokemon Center nearby to switch between the day and night cycle.
Alpha Fletchinder Location
- Time: Day/Night
Alpha Fletchinder nests at the top of the central monument. Like other Alpha Pokemon, it is highly aggressive and will constantly attack the trainer if aggroed. Fletchinder evolves into Talonflame at level 35.
