When playing games with a loot system, it's only a matter of time before the dreaded 'inventory full' notice pops up to make life miserable. As a 'soulslike' with an extensive loot system, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty players can fall victim to this unfortunate occurrence at a fairly early point in the game. Just as it has in many previous games, the storehouse mechanic shows up and attempts to save the day.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty features a loot system that is constantly introducing new items to the player. Unfortunately, it does very little to even inform the player that the storehouse exists. Before spending hard-earned coppers on that Five Minerals Powder, take a trip to the blacksmith in the hidden village.
How Does the Storehouse Work in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?
In the Field:
As players make their way through each stage , collecting Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's loot by the truckload, they will see a visual representation of each item on the right side of the screen. After a while, some items will appear with the image of a small box included. This is an indication that an item has been sent to the game's storehouse. The player can only carry a specific amount of each item, once that limit is met, any surplus will be sent to the storehouse.
While this mechanic can be helpful, players will notice that it only applies to certain items. Only items that can be 'stacked,' like consumables, ammunition, and thrown weapons, will be sent to the storehouse from the field. Weapons and Armor cannot be sent in this manner. In fact, there is no way to access the storehouse from the field.
From the Blacksmith:
Back in the Hidden Village, players can store any excess weapons and armor by visiting the blacksmith. This will be the same character that is in charge of all of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's equipment upgrades. Though the game does very little to inform the player, rest assured that the storehouse is available here.
How to Access the Storehouse in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Open Blacksmith Menu:
To access the storehouse, players must return to the Hidden Village. Once back in town, head to the forge to visit the Blacksmith. Interacting with her will open the multi-tiered menu. It does not matter which section the player picks, at the top right of the screen there will be a prompt that switches between the main inventory and the storehouse inventory. This will show what the player has stored.

To add items to the storehouse, the player can go to any section, check each item they want to move by pressing Y/Triangle, then select 'Send to Storehouse' after pressing A/X. This will allow the player to create space in their inventory, which is limited to 500 items. The storehouse will take 2000 items, giving the player ample space for a single playthrough.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There is a free demo available on all platforms.
